摘要: A propylene-ethylene-α-olefin copolymer satisfying: (I) a content of a propylene-derived constituent unit (i) is 50 to 92 mol %, a content of an ethylene-derived constituent unit (ii) is 5 to 20 mol %, and a content of a C4-20 α-olefin-derived constituent unit (iii) is 3 to 30 mol %, provided that (i) to (iii) total 100 mol %; (II) an mm fraction calculated by 13C-NMR is 85% or more; (III) 0.9≤MOE/(2MO×ME)≤1.5 wherein MOE represents a mole fraction of chains of propylene and ethylene and chains of the C4-20 α-olefin and ethylene in total to the total dyad, MO represents mole fractions of propylene and the C4-20 α-olefin in total, and ME represents a mole fraction of ethylene; (IV) an MFR is 1 to 3 g/10 minutes; and (V) a melting point measured by DSC is less than 100° C., or no melting peak is observed.

摘要: Amorphous propylene-ethylene copolymers are described herein that can include high amounts of ethylene and exhibit desirable softening points and needle penetrations. The desirable combinations of softening points and needle penetrations in these propylene-ethylene copolymers allow them to have a broad operating window. Due their broad operating window, the propylene-ethylene copolymers can be utilized in a wide array of applications and products, including hot melt adhesives.

摘要: The invention provides resin- and mineral oil-free pressure-sensitive adhesive compositions, comprising 55%-100% by weight of a copolymer of propylene and one or more further monomers selected from the group composed of ethylene and 1-olefins having 4 to 20 carbon atoms, wherein the copolymer has been prepared with the aid of metallocene catalysts and is characterized by a. a melt viscosity at 170° C. of 20 to 8000 mPas (DIN 53019); b. a density of 0.84 to 0.90 g/cm3 (23° C., ISO 1183); c. a glass transition temperature of less than −30° C. (DIN EN ISO 11357-2:2014); and d. a flow point, measured according to ASTM D97, of less than 50° C., which due to their permanently tacky properties are suitable as pressure-activated pressure-sensitive adhesives.

摘要: The present invention provides polymer compositions having improved corrosivity, color stability and clarity. Also disclosed is a process of preparing the polymers. The process may comprise incorporating into the polymer an acid neutralizing amount of an amorphous aluminum silicate. The amorphous aluminum silicate may be present in the polymer in an amount such that the polymer composition having a Corrosivity Index of less than 6. A refractive index of the amorphous aluminum silicate may be the same or substantially the same as a refractive index of the polymer.

摘要: A hydrogenated petroleum resin, and a manufacturing method and use thereof, are provided. More specifically, a hydrogenated petroleum resin manufactured by subjecting dicyclopentadiene and an olefinic monomer to thermal polymerization and then carrying out a hydrogenation reaction, and a manufacturing method and use therefor are provided. The hydrogenated petroleum resin has the advantage of being useful in practical applications, since the petroleum resin is manufactured via thermal polymerization using inexpensive raw materials and on the contrary to conventional catalytic polymerization, a catalyst elimination process can be excluded. The hydrogenated petroleum resin produced in this way can be applied to, for example, an adhesive agent used in environmentally friendly sanitary goods, because the petroleum resin has excellent compatibility, adhesiveness and heat resistance, and has no bad odor.
