摘要: A method for storing upgraded coal, which is economical and whereby it becomes possible to prevent the spontaneous ignition of piles; and grain-size-controlled coal which rarely undergoes spontaneous ignition during storage. The method for storing upgraded coal includes piling up granular coal containing upgraded coal, wherein the content of grains each having a grain size of 10 mm or less in the coal is 50 mass % or more. It is preferred that the content of grains each having a grain size of 1 mm or less is 25 mass % or more and the content of grains each having a grain size of 0.15 mm or less is 7 mass % or more in the coal.

摘要: A process for producing a modified coal from a coal of low-rank as a raw material includes dehydrating the coal, adding water to the dehydrated coal, agglomerating the water-added coal, and gradually oxidizing the agglomerated coal. In the water addition, an added amount of the water is regulated so that the water-added coal has a water content of 5% by mass or more and 20% by mass or less. In the oxidation, the agglomerated coal is held in an air at a temperature of 70° C. or more and 105° C. or less.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a molded solid fuel including: a pulverization for pulverizing low-grade coal; a mixing for obtaining a slurry by mixing the pulverized low-grade coal and a solvent oil; a dehydration for obtaining a dehydrated slurry by heating and dehydrating the slurry; a solid-liquid separation for obtaining a cake by separating the solvent oil from the dehydrated slurry; a drying for obtaining powdery modified coal by heating the cake and further separating the solvent oil from the cake; and a molding for pressurizing and molding the powdery modified coal by using a molding machine, without the addition/mixture of a binder. In the molding, a coolant is sprayed onto the surface of the molding machine, and the surface temperature of the molding machine is kept equal to or below 100° C.

摘要: A method for producing refined-coal has steps of (A) heating a mixture including moisture-containing coal and oil, to dehydrate the coal; (B) removing, in a first mist separator having plural baffle plates disposed in parallel, fine particles accompanying vapor generated by the dehydration step and adhered to the surface of the a first mist separator by spraying a liquid at a temperature of 50 ° C. or above and 150 ° C. or below in the first mist separator, which temperature is lower than a temperature to which the mixture is heated in step (A), wherein the sprayed liquid includes an oil component; and (C) compressing the vapor to obtain high-temperature vapor. In the step (B), the vapor is made to sequentially pass through the first mist separator and a second mist separator of a mesh type, while spraying liquid onto the first mist separator through which the vapor passes firstly.

摘要: A method for producing a briquetted solid fuel includes pulverizing a low-rank coal. The pulverized low-rank coal is mixed with a solvent oil to give a slurry. The slurry is heated and dewatered to give a dewatered slurry. The solvent oil is separated from the dewatered slurry to give a cake. The cake is heated to further separate the solvent oil from the cake to thereby give a refined coal in powder form. The refined coal is combined with a property-controlling coal in powder form having, as properties, a loose bulk density of 0.6 kg/L or more and an angle of repose of 40° or less, to give a briquetting feedstock containing the property-controlling coal in an amount of 5 to 70 mass percent based on the total mass of the briquetting feedstock. The briquetting feedstock is briquetted under pressure to give the briquetted solid fuel in briquette form.

摘要: The purpose of the present invention is to provide a refined-coal production method and a refined-coal production device, which exhibit excellent operability, and with which droplets accompanying steam generated when dehydrating moisture-containing coal is efficiently removed. This refined-coal production method is provided with: a step (A) in which a mixture including moisture-containing coal and oil is heated to dehydrate the coal; a step (B) in which droplets accompanying steam generated by performing dehydration are removed; and a step (C) in which steam, having had the droplets removed therefrom, is compressed to obtain high-temperature steam. The refined-coal production method is characterized in that, in step (B), the steam is sequentially passed through one or a plurality of mist separators, and removal of the droplets is performed while liquid is being sprayed onto a first mist separator through which the steam passes firstly.
