The present invention provides a multi-piece solid golf ball having excellent durability, excellent shot feel when hitting and good productivity. The present invention relates to a multi-piece solid golf ball which includes a solid core having a inner core and at least one outer core layer formed on the inner core, and a cover covering the solid core, wherein the inner core and outer core are formed from the material obtained by dispersing rubber in an ionomer resin and dynamically vulcanizing it with a vulcanizing agent, wherein the rubber particles dispersed in the ionomer resin have a particle size of not more than 10 .mu.m, the outer core layer has a Shore D hardness of more than that of the inner core by 5 to 30, and a weight ratio of the ionomer resin to the rubber particles is within the range of 95:5 to 30:70.

There is provided a crosslinkable fluorine-containing rubber composition being capable of giving a fluorine-containing rubber crosslinked and molded article having a low friction coefficient and assuring an increased proportion of a fluorine-containing resin around the surface of a fluorine-containing rubber, a molded article obtained by crosslinking the composition, and a method for producing the molded article. The crosslinkable fluorine-containing rubber composition comprises a fluorine-containing rubber (A) comprising vinylidene fluoride unit, a fluorine-containing resin (B) and a polyol crosslinking agent (C),wherein the fluorine-containing rubber (A) and the fluorine-containing resin (B) are kneaded at a temperature of not less than a temperature being lower by 5° C. than the melting point of the fluorine-containing resin (B).

The present invention relates a golf ball comprising a core and a cover covering the core, wherein the base resin of the cover is formed from a material having at least two phases whose phase angle difference is at least 2 degrees as measured by using an atomic force microscope; a maximum phase angle phase, which is contained in the base resin of the cover and has an absolute value of a maximum phase angle, is present in the form of a continuous matrix; and a minimum phase angle phase, which has an absolute value of a minimum phase angle, is present in discrete locations within the matrix.

A golf ball superior in resilience performance, cut resistance and spin performance is provided. The golf ball is composed of a core and a cover surrounding the core. The cover is formed of a composition having 0.5-20 parts by weight of organic short fiber blended with respect to 100 parts by weight of a polymer component having thermoplastic elastomer as its main component. Thermoplastic resin may also be blended in the polymer component. The cover composition has a flexural rigidity of 80-300 MPa, and the cover surface has a Shore D hardness of 41-56.
