摘要: Provided is a display system (1) capable of further reducing electric power consumption. The display system (1) includes: a host device (2) including transceivers (Tx1, Tx2); a display device (3) including receivers (Rx1, Rx2); a plurality of interfaces (IF1, IF2) for transmitting image data from the transceivers (Tx1, Tx2) to the receivers (Rx1, Rx2); changing means for changing the number of transmission lanes to be used by each of the plurality of interfaces (IF1, IF2); and a display panel (5) provided in the display device (3). Each of the interfaces (IF1, IF2) transmits the image data at an identical transmission rate irrespective of the number of the transmission lanes to be used. The display panel (5) displays an image indicated by the image data, at a frame rate corresponding to the total number of the transmission lanes to be used by the each of the interfaces (IF1, IF2).

摘要: A display device includes a signal line drive circuit provided with an analog amplifier through which a stationary electric current flows. The display device further includes a control signal output section which suspends operation of the analog amplifier during a period (non-scanning period) from an start time after application to a data signal line S(i) of a voltage necessary for display is completed in a horizontal period to an end time in the horizontal period. The control signal output section sustains an AMP_Enable signal through which the analog amplifier is controlled at an L value (a low value) in the non-scanning period. As a result, stationary electric current flowing through the analog amplifier is cut off in the non-scanning period. According to this, the display device allows for reduction of electric power consumption while being capable of displaying a moving image without causing flickering.

摘要: Electronic apparatus (100) includes a display device (1), a detecting device (20) which detects an input, a state change detecting section (31), and a control section. The control section controls the detecting device (20) so that the detecting device (20) carries out the detection more times during a non-scanning period in a case where a state change causing an improvement in detection accuracy is detected and so that the detecting device (20) carries out the detection fewer times during the non-scanning period in a case where the state change causing a deterioration in detection accuracy is detected. With the configuration, it is possible to improve detection accuracy of the detecting device while reducing electric power consumption.
