    摘要: In an intermittent drive mode of a display device in which driving and pausing of the driving are repeated, an image identification section identifies an input image as a still image or a moving image. In a case where the moving image is identified, a drive/pause control section generates a drive/pause control signal with a period ratio in accordance with the moving image. A timing control section generates a driver control signal so that intermittent driving is carried out. Then, a source driver and a gate driver drives a display section so that the drive period and the pause period are repeated with a predetermined period ratio, so that the input image is displayed. The drive/pause control section sets a time ratio between the drive period and the pause period to be variable for each of the moving image and the still image.

    摘要: Disclosed is a display device that (i) converts an input image formed of R, G, and B into a converted image formed of R, G, B, and W to display the converted image and that (ii) compresses the luminance of an input image for the subsequent frame on the basis of an adjustment value C which is corrected in correspondence with the number of, among all pixels in a converted image for the current frame, pixels in a state of luminance saturation and that then converts the input image into a converted image, the display device including a luminance oscillation detecting section (10) for detecting, while input images identical to each other are being inputted each as the above input image, whether converted images corresponding to the respective input images have an oscillating luminance, the display device, in the case where the luminance oscillation detecting section (10) has detected that the converted images have an oscillating luminance, stopping correction of the adjustment value C to fix the adjustment value C to a certain value, thereby preventing the converted images from having an oscillating luminance as a result of oscillation of the adjustment value C.

The slide groove (27) extends in single-layer space parallel to the opposed surfaces and is capable of storing a bundle of ultrafine coaxial cables (33). The slide groove extends portions of the ultrafine coaxial cables that have been drawn from cable holes (24, 28) opened in the opposed surfaces along the same sliding direction and stores the ultrafine coaxial cables in a state in which the ultrafine coaxial cables are curved in a plane direction between the opposed surfaces. The cable holes are opened at positions separated in the sliding direction at the beginning of sliding and at the end of sliding.

For example, with a numeral entry mode preset, only the key backlight for lighting the numeral display area is lighted, thus displaying only a required numeral bright in the number entry mode.

    摘要: A portable telephone set includes a main section thereof, an IC card, and a battery pack, which are removably connected to each other. The battery pack has an L-shaped rib to provide a slot in which the IC card is inserted. When the IC card is inserted in the slot, a side surface of the IC card is brought into contact with a side surface of the battery pack to be held therein in a unified form. In the combined state, a hook section of the battery pack is engaged with an engaging section of the main section. When the battery pack is pushed downward, a depressed portion of the battery pack is engaged with a lock member of the main section so as to fixedly attach the battery pack onto the main section. The IC card is pushed by the battery pack to be brought into contact with a connector of the main section so as to establish a stable connection therebetween. There is provided a small-sized, low-cost portable telephone set having improved operability of IC card installation and removal.

    摘要: A personal computer (PC) card comprises a PC card section and a casing section with a built-in electronic circuit provided at one end of the PC card section, and the PC card section and the casing section are integrated into a single structure. At the other end of the PC card section is provided a female interface connector, and in the connecting part between the PC card section and the casing section is arranged an elastic protective member. By inserting the PC card section into a slit section of a compact data terminal and connecting the female interface connector to a male interface connector, the PC card is actuated. In this configuration, when the PC card is inserted into the terminal, the protective member prevents the connecting part from being damaged by any force working on the casing section.
