    摘要: A throttle control device for a saddle-ride type vehicle includes a throttle sensor is disposed in a case at a fixed position to detect an amount of a rotation operation of a throttle grip in accordance with a rotation of a throttle pipe. An operation of an actuator which drives a throttle valve to open and close is controlled by a control unit on the basis of a detected value of the throttle sensor. The throttle control device does not require a cancel switch to cancel an operation of an automatic cruise control device, which in turn reduces the number of parts, allowing size reduction of the case fixed on a bar handle.

    摘要: A pressure detection unit includes a front-wheel transmitter and a rear-wheel transmitter operatively connected to wheel rims of a front wheel and a rear wheel, respectively. Inflation pressure signals transmitted from the front-wheel transmitter and the rear-wheel transmitter are received by a receiver. The receiver is arranged to be offset outward of a straight line connecting the front-wheel transmitter and the rear-wheel transmitter in the vehicle-body width direction. More specifically, the receiver is arranged in a space surrounded by a front cowl and a side panel, the space being between a coolant reserve tank and a radiator. The single receiver receives the signals transmitted from the front-wheel transmitter and the rear-wheel transmitter.

    摘要: A variable transmission system includes a continuously variable transmission, a shiftable sub-transmission in series with an output of the continuously variable transmission, and controller. A sensor senses a position of a driver's shift lever, and another sensor senses a gear position of the shiftable sub-transmission. The sensors report to the controller. If both sensors detect reverse drive conditions, the controller adjusts an angle of a swash plate of the continuously variable transmission for the reverse driving direction. If only one of the sensors indicates a rear drive condition, the controller compares an engine speed to a threshold value. If the engine speed exceeds the threshold value, the controller curbs the engine speed by cutting off the ignition.

The throttle pipe is configured to partly project into a case fixed to a bar handle and is configured to support rotation at an end portion of the bar handle. The throttle sensor is configured to detect a rotating operation amount of a throttle grip, which is mounted against relative rotation on the throttle pipe, in response to the rotation of the throttle pipe. The throttle sensor is disposed at a fixed position in the case. The resisting force application unit is configured to apply a resisting force to the rotating operation of the throttle grip. The resisting force application unit is accommodated in the case. The cancel switch configured to cancel operation of an auto-cruise controlling apparatus. The cancel switch is accommodated in the case together with the throttle sensor and the resisting force application unit.
