    摘要: A bifocal lens and bifocal eyeglasses by which strangeness felt during using a near-vision portion is removed, a place according to the purpose of use can clearly be selected, and costs are reduced. The bifocal lens for eyeglasses is constituted of a single material with a uniform refractive index and is provided with a lens for presbyopia (1B) used for looking at something near at a portion of a body lens part (1A) used for looking at something in the distance. The lens for presbyopia (1B) is formed of an upper side which is generally horizontal when used, a lateral side on the ear side which continues to the upper side and expands toward the ear, and a lower side parallel to the peripheral shape of the lower side of an eyeglass frame to be generally circular-arc or generally rectangular as a whole. The upper side and the lateral side form a generally straight boundary line which can be recognized by a user.

    摘要: A plasma processing apparatus which stably and continuously generates a uniform plasma to process large-diameter wafers using a wide range of seed gases under wide-ranging pressure and density conditions and can be thus used for a wide range of applications, ensuring a high production efficiency. The plasma processing apparatus, which introduces electromagnetic waves through a dielectric window into a reduced pressure vessel, has at least two antenna elements which are rotationally symmetrical. One end of each antenna is grounded and power is fed from a high frequency power supply to the other end in the same or virtually same phase.

    摘要: The optical glass for press molding of the present invention contains 35 to 45% by weight of SiO2, 15 to 30% by weight of B2O3, and 18 to 33% by weight of CaO so that the total amount is 75 to 96% by weight. Also, the glass has an index of refraction (nd) of 1.55 to 1.63, an optical constant value ranging from 55 to 63 by the Abbe number (νd), a specific gravity of not more than 2.75, and a glass transition temperature (Tg) of not more than 550° C. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide inexpensive optical glass for press molding which exerts intended optical performance while realizing further reduction in size and weight of optical devices.

    摘要: The color image forming machine such like a color printer or a color copier for forming a color image on a recording sheet. The image forming machine includes a photoreceptor belt; a belt driver for rotating the photoreceptor in a longitudinal direction; a laser beam scanner for repeatedly scanning the photoreceptor in a direction perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, with the laser beam, so that the latent image is formed on the photoreceptor; a developer for developing the latent image with plural color toners; a measuring unit for determining a rotation time of the photoreceptor; and a controller unit for controlling a scanning frequency of the laser beam scanner so that one scanning time of the laser beam scanner is set to the result of dividing the rotation time of the photoreceptor, while the photoreceptor rotates one round, by an integer.
