    摘要： This invention relates to a biocidal composition resistant to the formation of a gel and to the method for stabilizing a concentrate containing, in addition to the biocide, a carbodiimide, a lipophilic/hydrophilic emulsifier mixture having a HLB of 6 to 20 and optionally an oil and/or an alkoxylated ester of a polyhydroxylated compound, by adding to the concentrate an effective anti-gelling amount of an anti-gelling agent selected from the group of an inorganic oxide, a epoxidized naturally occurring or synthetic vegetable oil and an epoxylated ester of a saturated or unsaturated C6 to C18 aliphatic acid optionally containing hydroxy substitution and mixtures of the foregoing anti-gelling agents.

    摘要： What is described herein is a synergistic matrix composite for making a stable microemulsion in water of an active ingredient comprising a first matrix composition including by wt. (a) 5-30% of a C8-C18 N-alkyl pyrrolidone, (b) optionally, 5-60% of a water insoluble organic solvent soluble therein, (c) 30-70% of a non-ionic emulsifier, and (d) 1-15% of an EO/PO/EO copolymer, and, (e) optionally, 1-5% of a surface active buffering agent, e.g. a branched alkyl ethoxylated phosphate ester, a second matrix composition comprising a polar polymeric material, e.g. polyethylene glycol, and/or a neutralized derivatized vegetable oil, e.g. maleated linseed oil, which composite is capable of loading a higher amount of said active than either composition alone.

    摘要： The present application provides an aqueous, stable, VOC-free microemulsion based antimicrobial disinfectant and/or cleaning concentrate composition capable of inhibiting or killing gram(+), gram(−) and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) comprising (i) a water-soluble matrix composite made of (a) water-soluble polymer, and (b) water-soluble surfactant; (ii) a blend of antimicrobial agents comprising (a) at least one compound selected from phenols, halogenated phenols, derivatives of phenols, derivatives of halogenated phenols, bis -phenols, cresols, resorcinols, halogenated hydroxyl diphenylethers, anilides or combinations thereof; and (b) at least one compound derived from essential oils; and (iii) optionally, one or more additives. Also, there is described a method of use and process for preparing the composition.
