Abstract: Disclosed are a hydrocarbon adsorption and desorption complex that reduces emission of hydrocarbon from vehicle exhaust gas and improves hydrothermal stability of a device, and a method for preparing the same. The hydrocarbon adsorption and desorption complex may have improved adsorption ability of the hydrocarbon as metal ions are bound to a gas adsorbing portion containing aluminum, and may have improved hydrothermal stability as a reinforcing portion made of silica is formed on a surface of the gas adsorbing portion.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a chabazite zeolite membrane with a controlled pore size and a production method thereof, wherein the sizes of pore space and pore mouth of the chabazite zeolite membrane are finely controlled through chemical vapor deposition. Through the chemical vapor deposition, defects present in the chabazite zeolite membrane are eliminated, and the pore size is effectively controlled. Thus, unlike hydrophilic membranes showing excellent CO2/N2 separation performance under a dry condition, the chabazite zeolite membrane with a controlled pore size according to the present invention has a hydrophobic surface, and thus can maintain excellent CO2/N2 separation performance even under a wet condition. Accordingly, the chabazite zeolite membrane of the present invention can effectively capture carbon dioxide from nitrogen under various environmental conditions.

Abstract: Disclosed are a MWW/DDR type gas separation membrane comprising at least one MWW type zeolite and at least one DDR type zeolite and a method for preparing the same. One of the MWW type zeolite and the DDR type zeolite is disposed on the other thereof, wherein at least one of the MWW type zeolite and the DDR type zeolite is epitaxially grown. In the gas separation membrane, the DDR type zeolite is epitaxially grown from the MWW type zeolite, or the MWW type zeolite is epitaxially grown from the DDR type zeolite. Thus, the MWW/DDR type gas separation membrane is synthesized using a structural continuity of the MWW type zeolite and the DDR type zeolite. Thus, the gas separation membrane has excellent separation efficiency.
