    摘要: A diesel engine having cylinders disposed in a V shape is constructed as compact as possible so that it can be adapted to either vertical and horizontal use without changing many parts. To this end, intake and exhaust cams and a fuel injection pump driving cam are disposed on a single camshaft to thereby obviate the necessity of a plurality of camshafts. In addition, a fuel pump, which has conventionally been disposed in a separate fuel injection pump case outside a cylinder block, is disposed inside the cylinder block. Furthermore, a fuel injection nozzle is disposed on an inner side of a pushrod and the pushrod and fuel injection nozzle are disposed between the cylinders, whereby a compact construction is obtained. Moreover, a governor device and a fuel injection pump are disposed on a side opposite to a crankshaft of the camshaft.

    摘要: An engine has a load detector, or more specifically a threshold load comparator, and also detectors for sensing any abnormality of various factors influencing the normal engine operation. When no abnormality is sensed, the engine is made to operate automatically at a low speed level when the engine load is below the threshold value, and at a high speed level when the load is beyond such value. When any abnormality is sensed, then the engine is emergently halted in a fail-safe manner, thus any damaging disorder in controling circuitry for effecting such emergent halting leads in itself to emergent halting of the engine as well.

    摘要: Disclosed is a self-propelled pipe inspection apparatus suitable for use in inspecting a plurality of parallel and vertical pipes one by one, for the presence of faults such as cracking, corrosion and so on, by non-destructive testing method. The apparatus has fault detecting means which may be of conventional type, pipe cramping means adapted to cramp the pipe and a mobile carrier by which the fault detecting means and the pipe cramping means are carried. The mobile carriage has a power-driven running surface which may be a running surface of an endless belt and adapted to be pressed onto the pipe surface when the pipe is cramped by the cramping means. The cramping means comprise at least a pair of arms each of which having a bent end carrying a roller. Each arm is supported for free rotation around its longitudinal axis, so that the roller may be swung outwardly to clear the pipe, when the latter is brought into the space between the pair or arms. In the cramping state, as the running surface of the mobile carriage is driven, the apparatus as a whole moves up and down along the pipe, keeping a resilient contact with the latter. The fault detecting means are secured to the mobile carriage through a turn table for inspecting all circumferential parts of the pipe.

    摘要: The present invention provides a traveling speed reduction gear lubricating oil cooling device that enables optimal temperature control for lubricating oil delivered via a lubricating oil pump that can be started up with a relatively small motor without running the risk of damage to an oil cooler in a cold work environment even when a temperature sensor that detects the temperature of the lubricating oil is installed outside a wheel mounting sleeve. During a startup operation, provided that the detected temperature at a traveling motor is higher than the reference temperature, the lubricating oil pump is driven at a speed in a lower speed range relative to the normal operation speed range. In addition, during the startup operation, the rotation speed of the drive motor for the lubricating oil pump is increased in correspondence to a rise in the temperature detected by a lubricating oil temperature detection sensor.
