    摘要: A gear assembly having first and second gears in constant mesh with each other, the second gear being divided into two gear elements by a plane perpendicular to the axis thereof. A passage through which lubricating oil flows is formed between these two gear elements. The passage preferably consists of a radial groove formed on a surface of one of the two gear elements to extend in a radial direction from the inner surface of the gear element, an annular groove formed on the surface to extend in a circular direction about the axis of the gear element and communicate with the outer end portion of the radial groove, and a clearance formed between the two gear elements and surrounding the annular groove.

    摘要: An internal combustion engine includes an intake system, an exhaust system, and a mixture supply device which supplies primary fuel-air mixture into the intake system. An oxygen sensor assembly detects oxygen concentration at a certain point in the exhaust system and produces a first electrical signal which represents this concentration. A secondary air flow control circuit receives this first electrical signal and produces a second electrical signal according thereto. A secondary air supply system feeds secondary air into the exhaust system upstream of the aforementioned certain point at a flow rate controlled by the second electrical signal. A primary air/fuel ratio correction circuit receives either the first or the second electrical signal and based on it produces a primary mixture control electrical signal. This primary mixture control electrical signal is received by a mixture control system, which alters the primary air/fuel ratio of the mixture provided by the mixture supply device in accordance therewith.

    摘要: A bimetal valve is disclosed which is adapted to open and close a fluid flow conduit, or change flow paths from one to another due to the snapping action of bimetal discs in response to ambient temperature changes of the valve. In a first embodiment, there is used a combination of two bimetal discs and a valve seat cooperative therewith, thereby opening and closing flow of fluid between two ports. In a second embodiment, there is used a combination of two bimetal discs and a hold-down plate having a valve body thereon, thereby opening and closing flow of fluid between the two ports. In a third embodiment, there is used a combination of three bimetal discs, a hold-down portion, a stem portion and a valve body, thereby changing flow paths from one to another. In a fourth embodiment, there is used a combination of three bimetal discs, a partition plate, a stem portion secured to a valve body, thereby also changing fluid paths.

    摘要: A linear motor-actuated flow control valve includes: a casing having an inlet port and an outlet port; a moving-coil linear motor disposed within said casing, said linear motor including a hollow, ferromagnetic core which delimits the interior of said casing into valve chambers and which has a valve hole or holes for communicating said inlet and outlet ports with each other, a bobbin slidably disposed on said core for controlling the opening degree of the valve hole(s), an electromagnetic coil wound on said bobbin, a permanent magnet so arranged that the magnetic flux produced thereby extends axially of said electromagnetic coil, and a magnetic body for forming a magnetic circuit, in cooperation with said core, for the flux produced by said permanent magnet; and spring for biasing said bobbin so that said bobbin is retained at a predetermined position by said spring means when said electromagnetic coil is in the de-energized state, whereby said valve hole(s) is/are held open or closed to a predetermined degree, said spring serving as power supply lines for said electromagnetic coil, wherein the improvement comprises some of said valve holes, referred to a first valve hole(s), disposed at a position lying within said magnetic circuit along the length of said hollow ferromagnetic core, and a second valve hole(s) disposed at the other position(s) lying outside of said magnetic circuit along the length of said core.
