Abstract: Provided is an information processing apparatus that can appropriately adjust the printing order even if there are unpresented jobs by filtering. An instruction acquiring unit filters the plurality of jobs according to a specific condition, presents a job list in which only filtered job is arranged in printing order, and acquires an instruction to change the printing order for selected job. A list expanding unit expands and presents at least part of unpresented job that is not presented by the filtering by the instruction acquiring unit in the job list when a specific time has elapsed while the selected job exists. A list adjusting unit adjusts the printing order in the job list according to the instruction having the unpresented job expanded by the list expanding unit. An image forming unit respectively outputs the plurality of jobs in the printing order.

Abstract: A method and apparatus to implement a unified and decentralized machine interface for control of multi-printer systems is disclosed. A master controller device accepts a selection control from a user indicating a plurality of selected printers from printers connected to the master controller device by a network. The master controller device accepts an operation control from the user, indicating at least one printer operation to be performed on the plurality of selected printers. The master controller broadcasts a simultaneous control signal to the plurality of selected printers with data instructing the printers to immediately perform at least one printer operation, triggering, substantially simultaneously with the broadcasting of the simultaneous control signal, performance of the at least one printer operation at the plurality of selected printers, and performing the at least one printer operation substantially simultaneously at the plurality of selected printers immediately upon receiving the simultaneous control signal.

Abstract: An image forming method: imaging an image forming medium in the image forming unit to generate medium image data representing the image forming medium; controlling an image formation in a plurality of modes including a single-side image forming mode and a duplex image forming mode; and detecting an ink stain based on tone differences between first medium image data and second medium image data by comparing the first medium image data as medium image data representing one surface of the image forming medium and the second medium image data as medium image data representing another surface of the image forming medium when the duplex image forming mode is selected. The controlling includes setting the whole image formable region as the target of the ejection restriction process in response to the detection of the ink stain to inhibit an ejection of the ink to the other surface.

Abstract: Provided is an image processing apparatus that efficiently uses the ring buffer. A ring buffer is set in the storage unit. A page area setting unit allocates a maximum size page area in the page unit of the job in the ring buffer. A band storing unit stores band data while compressing the band data in the page area allocated by the page area setting unit. An image processing unit performs image processing on the band data. A temporary deletion unit sets the page area including the band data into a temporary deletion state in which overwriting is possible at a specific timing. Here, when the band data of the page is needed again and the temporarily deleted page area is not overwritten, the page area setting unit reuses the page area.

Abstract: An image forming system includes a portable terminal device, an image forming apparatus, and a marker registration circuit. An image acquisition unit acquires processing image data for performing processing.
