Abstract: The present disclosure relates to cleansing compositions, which are free of sulfates and ethoxylated surfactants. Methods for making and using the cleansing compositions are also described. The cleansing compositions include: (a) at least 3 wt. % of one or more nonionic surfactant(s) that are not fatty esters; (b) one or more fatty ester(s); (c) one or more non-ethoxylated, sulfate-free anionic surfactant(s); and (d) two or more thickening agents. The cleansing compositions exhibit quality cleansing activity, impart pleasant conditioning benefits, and have a desired viscosity and foam properties.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods, compositions, and kits for treating hair. The methods entail the use of multiple compositions, which can be incorporated into kits. The methods include: (I) optionally, cleansing the hair, for example, with a cleansing composition such as a shampoo; (II) optionally, treating the hair with a rinse-off conditioning mask, and rinsing the rinse-off conditioning mask from the hair; (III) applying a leave-on hair-treatment composition to the hair; (IV) without removing the leave-on hair-treatment composition, subsequently applying a leave-on hair crème to the hair; and (V) without removing the leave-on hair-treatment composition and the leave-on hair crème, styling the hair. The methods provide durable styling and conditioning benefits, frizz control/curl definition, and general hair manageability qualities.

Abstract: A cosmetic composition to combat skin aging, particularly on the neck, includes a blend of skin actives comprising at least the combination of glaucine, retinol and a blend of peptides. The skin actives are provided in an aqueous carrier in a single phase, biphase or emulsion wherein the cosmetic composition is a leave on treatment in the form of a cream, gel, lotion, toner, or serum. The cosmetic composition provides one or more benefits, including, but not limited to improvement in many signs of skin aging, particularly on the neck, such as lines, wrinkles, crepiness, and sagging, the benefits conferred by one or more of increasing firmness, increasing elasticity, improving hydration, and reducing the presence superficial adipose tissue. The cosmetic composition may include one or more of additional skin actives, solvents, surfactants, oils, thickeners, preservatives, brightening agents, effect pigments, essential oils, plant extracts, or combinations of these.

Abstract: A sunscreen composition in the form of a water-in-oil emulsion comprising: a) a water phase of about 20% to 60% by weight relative to the total weight of the sunscreen composition; b) one or more mineral UV filtering agents; c) one or more oil thickening agents selected from poly C10-30 alkyl acrylate, hydrogenated jojoba oil and its derivatives and mixtures thereof; wherein the total amount of oil thickening agents is about 0.5% to about 4% by weight relative to the total weight of the sunscreen composition; wherein when hydrogenated jojoba oil is present, the amount of hydrogenated jojoba oil is no more than 1.5 times the amount of poly C10-30 alkyl acrylate; wherein the composition has a viscosity of about 0.1 Pa·s to about 5 Pa·s at 25° C. at 10 rad/s; and wherein the inflection point of the largest viscosity transition at 10 rad/s is between 30° C. to 40° C.
