摘要： An animal information means which utilizes a region behind an animal's ear and adjacent its skull composed of skin, sub-cutaneous fascia and fat in which is formed a cavity, the temperature in the cavity being indicative of the animal's body temperature; the attachment including a temperature actuated warning assembly sensitive to a fever temperature in the animal, the warning assembly having a flanged end arranged to produce a conspicuous visual signal, the warning device being removably received and secured in a retainer assembly adapted to be inserted in the cavity, the retainer having an outer flanged end forming an exposed disk and an inner expansible end, the flanged and expansible end serving to clamp the fascia and skin surrounding the cavity; the retainer also being arranged to receive and secure a shield or guard underlying the flanged end of the retainer and projecting laterally beyond the warning assembly to prevent the surrounding hair growth from covering the warning device, the guard also serving as an identification and a record tag which may be marked to indicate past history of the animal, the retainer sleeve also providing, upon removal of the warning device an access opening into the cavity for insertion of therapeutic substances.

摘要： A valve assembly can automatically dispense aerosol content from an aerosol container at predetermined intervals without the use of electric power. A diaphragm at least partially defines an accumulation chamber that receives aerosol content from the can during an accumulation phase. Once the internal pressure of the accumulation chamber reaches a predetermined threshold, the diaphragm moves, carrying with it a leg so as to unseal a valve stem, and thereby initiate a spray burst. The diaphragm assumes its original position when the pressure within the accumulation chamber falls below a threshold pressure. A barrier prevents the aerosol container from resupplying the accumulation chamber at a high rate during the spray phase, preferably due to a textured interface between the barrier and a passageway in which it is housed.

摘要： A cartridge for storing pencil leads and dispensing such leads into the lead storage chamber of a pencil has an assembly slidably mounted therein which has a dispensing spout on one end thereof. Pencil leads are contained within the cartridge and prevented from being released therefrom by a gate member formed on the slidable assembly. When the slidable assembly is actuated to effect slidable motion thereof relative to the main body of the cartridge, the gate member is driven out of the path between the leads and the dispensing spout, permitting the leads to be dispensed into the chamber of the pencil.

摘要： A manually operable device is placed over the drain opening so as to seal this opening. Contained within the device and in fluid communication with the drain is a cartridge which contains one or more materials which react with each other when mixed or with water in the drain to cause the emission of a blast of gas. The materials may comprise a solid and a liquid, the liquid being contained within a capsule, the device including a hand operated trigger pin which is used to pierce the capsule to effect the mixture and resultant reaction, or may comprise a single material contained within a capsule which is mixed with water above the drain when the capsule is either pierced by the trigger pin or dissolved by the water. In this manner, gas pressure is provided to clear the drain by virtue of the reaction produced when certain of the materials are mixed.

This permits the apparatus to be conveniently folded for packaging and storage purposes. Another aspect of the apparatus involves disk holding structure, connected to the upper face of the tray, for holding baby bottle disks in a location that is isolated from areas of the tray in which liquid may collect. This permits baby bottle disks to be dried and stored in a safe manner at a location that is convenient to a location at which baby bottles are being dried.
