Abstract: Disclosed are a method for forming a pattern for liquid crystal orientation of a zenithal bi-stable liquid crystal panel, a liquid crystal orientation substrate including the pattern formed thereby, and a mask substrate used for forming the pattern. The method includes: (a) depositing a silicon-based compound on a silicon substrate, (b) forming a guide pattern on an upper portion of the deposited silicon-based compound layer by using an imprint lithography, (c) discontinuously exposing the silicon substrate by transferring a pattern from the guide pattern onto the silicon-based compound layer by dry etching, (d) forming a pattern in an asymmetrical form on the silicon substrate by wet etching, (e) removing the part of the remaining silicon-based compound layer, and then hydrophobically treating a pattern surface of the silicon substrate; and (f) transferring a pattern in an asymmetrical form onto a glass substrate by disposing the surface-treated silicon substrate to face the glass substrate, and supplying a dielectric therebetween.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a low refractive layer and an anti-reflective film comprising the same. The low refractive layer can exhibit excellent optical properties such as a low reflectance and a high light transmittance, and excellent mechanical properties such as high wear resistance and scratch resistance at the same time, without adversely affecting the color of the polymer resin forming the low refractive layer. In particular, due to the excellent alkali resistance, the low refractive layer can maintain excellent physical properties even after alkali treatment. Therefore, when introducing a low refractive layer to the display device, it is expected that the production process can be simplified and further the production rate and the productivity can significantly increase.

Abstract: A method for forming a wire portion of a liquid crystal chromic device. The method includes: a) preparing a liquid crystal chromic device by forming a transparent electrode on a substrate, and forming an alignment film on the transparent electrode; b) forming two or more etching lines spaced apart by a constant interval by irradiating the alignment film with a laser; and c) applying a conductive paste to a valley region of each of the two or more etching lines. The liquid crystal chromic device includes: a substrate; a transparent electrode provided on the substrate; an alignment film provided on the transparent electrode; and two or more etching lines provided on the alignment film. The two or more etching lines are spaced apart by a constant interval, and a valley region of each of the two or more etching lines is coated with a conductive paste.
