摘要: The present disclosure relates to a crosslinked structure-containing separator for a lithium secondary battery, including: a crosslinked structure-containing polyolefin porous support having a crosslinked structure including polymer chains interconnected directly with one another; and a photoinitiator having an oxidation potential at least 0.02 V higher than the fully charged voltage of the lithium secondary battery, a method for manufacturing the same, and a lithium secondary battery including the separator. The lithium secondary battery including the separator has excellent high-temperature safety and can improve the problem of degradation of capacity after high-temperature storage.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method for manufacturing a crosslinked structure-containing separator for a lithium secondary battery, including the steps of: preparing a polyolefin porous support including a photoinitiator; and irradiating ultraviolet rays to the polyolefin porous support, wherein the polyolefin porous support has a BET specific surface area of 10-27 m2/g, and the content of the photoinitiator is 0.01-1.0 mg/m2 based on the specific surface area of the polyolefin porous support. The present disclosure also relates to a crosslinked structure-containing separator for a lithium secondary battery obtained from the method, and a lithium secondary battery including the crosslinked structure-containing separator for a lithium secondary battery. The polyolefin porous support has a controlled BET specific surface area so that it may be crosslinked even with a small amount of photoinitiator.

摘要: A separator for an electrochemical device, including a porous substrate and an inorganic coating layer formed on at least one surface of the porous substrate and method for manufacturing the same are provided. The inorganic coating layer includes a binder resin and inorganic particles, and the binder resin includes a polyvinylidene fluoride-based resin and shows a low electrolyte absorption ratio. The separator has excellent adhesion with an electrode and shows low resistance characteristics.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a crosslinked polyolefin separator and the crosslinked polyolefin separator obtained therefrom are provided. The method includes non-grafted polyolefin having a weight average molecular weight of 300,000 or more and silane-grafted polyolefin having a weight average molecular weight of 300,000 or more. The method minimizes gel formation, a side reaction occurring in an extruder during the manufacture of the separator, and provides the separator having a uniform surface.

摘要: A separator for an electrochemical device is provided. The separator includes a porous polymer substrate, and an electrode adhesive layer formed on at least one surface of the porous polymer substrate, wherein the electrode adhesive layer includes a binder polymer and has at least two electrode adhesive layer units including at least two lines extending from a long side to a short side of the separator, and the units do not cross each other. Herein, a unit merely formed by lines extending from one long side to the other long side of the separator, or a unit merely formed by lines extending from one short side to the other short side of the separator is not included. The separator is effective for reducing a time required for impregnation of an electrode with an electrolyte, while providing excellent electrode-separator adhesion.
