    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a pouch-shaped secondary battery including a battery case, an electrode assembly having a structure in which a positive electrode and a negative electrode are stacked in the state in which a separator is interposed therebetween, an electrode lead having an asymmetrical notch formed in a first surface of the electrode lead, the electrode lead being electrically connected to electrode tabs of the electrode assembly, the asymmetrical notch being configured to induce the rupture of the electrode lead, a lead film attached to the first surface and a second surface of the electrode lead, the lead film adhering the electrode lead to the battery case, the lead film including a first lead film located between the electrode assembly and the asymmetrical notch, and a second lead film located between the asymmetrical notch and a portion of the electrode lead that protrudes out of the battery case.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a pouch-shaped battery case, including an electrode assembly, an outer coating layer, a metal barrier layer, and an inner adhesive layer sequentially stacked with one another, a first adhesive layer interposed between the outer coating layer and the metal barrier layer, a second adhesive layer interposed between the metal barrier layer and the inner adhesive layer, an upper case and a lower case sealed to one another by thermal fusion at outer edges thereof, such that the electrode assembly is mounted between the upper case and the lower case, and a gas discharge member providing gas communication between an inside and an outside of the pouch-shaped battery case, the gas discharge member being disposed within a fused portion of the pouch-shaped battery case that is formed by the inner adhesive layer of the upper case and the lower case being thermally fused to one another.

    Abstract: The invention provides a non-painting and high-gloss polycarbonate resin composition. Specifically, the invention provides a polycarbonate resin composition having a superior impact strength, heat-resistance, electric characteristics, weather resistance, and light resistance. In certain embodiments, the resin composition of the invention is obtained by mixing a butadiene-based impact modifier, such as acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) or methacrylate-butadiene-styrene and an acryl-based impact modifier in polycarbonate resin, followed by adding an ultraviolet (UV) absorbent to the mixture.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a glass fiber-reinforced polycarbonate flame-retardant resin composition which comprises (A) 50 to 75% by weight of polycarbonate having a melt index of 22 g/10 min or more (300° C., 1.2 kg), (B) 3 to 15% by weight of a rubber-modified styrene-based graft copolymer, (C) 3 to 10% by weight of a bulk copolymer of an aromatic vinyl compound and a vinyl cyan compound, (D) 1 to 10% by weight of an ethylene acrylate-based copolymer, (E) 10 to 25% by weight of glass fiber, and (F) 5 to 20% by weight of an aromatic phosphate ester-based compound, and thus advantageously exhibits superior flowability, flame retardancy, hardness, impact resistance and appearance qualities.
