Abstract: A liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal panel; and a backlight unit disposed at one side of the liquid crystal panel. The backlight unit includes a prism sheet, which comprises a base and a plurality of prism patterns arranged on the base and a binder and a silicon compound having adjacent siloxane moieties linked via a diselenide group, and a light source disposed at a lower portion of the prism sheet. In the liquid crystal display device, the prism sheet is disposed between the light source and the liquid crystal panel.
