Abstract: Various embodiments relate to a stator having an improved structure of an insulator coupled to teeth and to a motor having the stator. The stator includes an insulator. The insulator includes: a coil-wound portion surrounding an outer circumferential face of a tooth; and both side walls respectively extending from both sides of the coil-wound portion, wherein the both side walls and the coil-wound portion defines a space receiving the coil, wherein one of the both side walls includes a coupling portion, wherein the insulator are divided into two parts and the two parts are coupled to each other via the coupling portion such that the tooth is inserted into and coupled to the insulator.

Abstract: A brushless direct current (BLDC) motor is disclosed. The BLDC motor includes a shaft made of a nonmagnetic material, a plurality of magnets surrounding the outer circumference of the shaft, a stator surrounding the outer circumferences of the magnets, wherein each of the magnets has an arc-shaped outer circumferential surface, an arc-shaped inner circumferential surface facing the shaft, and opposite side surfaces facing other adjacent magnets, and the magnets include a first magnet magnetized in a direction directed from the outer circumferential surface to the inner circumferential surface, a second magnet magnetized in a direction directed from the inner circumferential surface to the outer circumferential surface, and a third magnet magnetized in a direction directed from one side surface to the other side surface. The efficiency of the motor is improved while eddy current loss is minimized.

Abstract: A Blushless Direct Current (BLDC) motor may include a motor housing; a stator including a stator core installed within the motor housing and a coil wound in the stator core and that generates a magnetic field by applied power; and a rotor disposed within the stator and in which a magnet that interacts with the magnetic field is installed and that rotates within the stator by an interaction with the magnetic field. The stator core may include a back yoke in which straight portions and curved portions are alternately formed; and teeth protruded from the back yoke toward the magnet. The tooth include a neck protruded from the back yoke, and a shoe protruded from the neck and separated from the magnet and that encloses at least a portion of the magnet. A ratio A/B of a width A of the neck to a width B of a shoe end portion is 2.5 to 3.5. By optimizing a ratio A/B of a width A of the neck to a width B of the shoe end portion constituting the stator core, efficiency of a BLDC motor may be maximized.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a stator which prevents motor efficiency from deteriorating while increasing divided contact areas of divided teeth. According to the present disclosure, provided is a stator characterized by comprising a back yoke having a certain thickness in the radial direction, and divided teeth coupled to the back yoke, wherein: the back yoke includes recessed grooves into which the divided teeth fit; the divided teeth include a winding portion forming a section on which a coil is wound and a coupling portion extending from the winding portion and fitting into the grooves; and the length of the back yoke in the radial direction at the coupling portion is greater than half the thickness of the back yoke.
