    摘要: A sensor array apparatus for monitoring medical signals includes a flexible substrate adapted for positioning relative to the torso of a patient. The flexible substrate includes a central segment defining a central axis and is adapted to generally conform to an area extending along the sternum of a patient. The flexible substrate further includes an upper segment extending traversal across the central segment and adapted to generally conform to the chest area of a patient and a lower segment extending traversal across the central segment and adapted to generally conform to the abdominal area of the patient. The apparatus further includes a medical electrode disposed on at least one of the segments and a connector in electrical communication with the medical electrode and adapted to connect to an electronic monitoring system.

    摘要: A biomedical electrode connector for coupling with a biomedical electrode of the type including an electrode base and a male terminal projecting from the electrode base is provided. The electrode connector includes a jacketed housing having an internal cavity with an electrical contact material adapted for electrical coupling relation with an electrical lead wire. The jacketed housing includes a lower member positionable adjacent the electrode and having internal surface portions defining a keyhole slot therein. The keyhole slot has a first slot portion defining a first internal dimension to permit passage of the male terminal of the electrode for reception within the internal cavity, and a second slot portion defining a second internal dimension less than the first dimension whereby, upon traversing movement of the male terminal within the internal cavity, the male terminal is secured within the internal surface portions defining the second slot portion to thereby electrically couple the electrode with the electrode connector.

    摘要: A biomedical electrode connector for coupling with a biomedical electrode of the type including an electrode base and a male terminal projecting from the electrode base is provided.     摘要: An electrode pad packaging system including a defibrillation electrode pad, a wire and a retaining structure is disclosed. The wire extends from the defibrillation electrode pad. The retaining structure is configured to maintain the wire in a looped configuration, where the wire forms at least one loop. A radius of the loop is configured to decrease in response to movement of at least a portion of the wire away from the defibrillation electrode. A cross-section of the retaining structure may have a closed shape or may have a slot therein to allow the wire to pass therethrough. A method of packaging a defibrillation electrode is also disclosed. The method includes providing an electrode pouch, a defibrillation electrode pad, a wire and a retaining structure.

    摘要: An electrode pad packaging system including an electrode pouch, an electrode pad (e.g., a defibrillation electrode pad) and a sacrificial source of moisture (e.g., a gel or a solid hydrogel) is disclosed. The electrode pad and the sacrificial source of moisture are each disposed at least partially within the electrode pouch. A method of packaging an electrode pad is also disclosed. The method includes providing an electrode pouch, an electrode pad (e.g., a defibrillation electrode pad), and a sacrificial source of moisture configured to be placed at least partially within the electrode pouch. In an embodiment, the sacrificial source of moisture is configured to diffuse within the electrode pouch to help prevent conductive gel disposed on the electrode pad from becoming too dry.
