Such compounds have activity as SHIP1 modulators, and thus may be used to treat any of a variety of diseases, disorders or conditions that would benefit from SHIP1 modulation. Compositions comprising a compound of structure (I) in combination with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier or diluent are also disclosed, as are methods of SHIP1 modulation by administration of such compounds to an animal in need thereof.

摘要： The invention provides a drainage bag assembly for receiving bodily waste; the drainage bag assembly comprising outer (6) and inner (12) bags secured to one side of a flange (2), the flange (2) being provided with means defining an orifice to enable bodily waste to be received by the inner bag (12), and the flange (2) having connected to an opposite side thereof means for securing the drainage bag assembly to the body of a patient; the outer bag (6) being detachably secured by means of a peelable but non-repositionable adhesive to a first attachment zone (4) on the flange and the inner bag being detachably secured by means of a peelable adhesive to a second attachment zone (16) on the flange, wherein the first attachment zone (4) surrounds the second attachment zone (16) and is non-overlapping therewith; and the second attachment zone (16) surrounds the means defining the orifice; and wherein the outer bag (6) can be removed or opened to permit access to the interior thereof and removal of the inner bag (12).

摘要： Disclosed are methods for the enzymatic synthesis of alpha-sialylated oligosaccharide glycosides. Specifically, in the disclosed methods, sialyltransferase is activated to transfer an analogue of sialic acid, employed as its CMP-nucleotide derivative, to an oligosaccharide glycoside. The analogue of sialic acid and the oligosaccharide employed in this method are selected to be compatible with the sialyltransferase employed.

摘要： A data server of a data processing system is operably coupled to a database and in communication with a middleware server. A connection between the data server and the middleware server is established and managed. A set of attributes identifying trusted middleware servers is instituted with the data server. The middleware server transmits a connection request to the data server. The connection request has request attributes including identifying the connection request as being for a new connection or reuse of an existing connection with different connection request attributes. A connection with the middleware server is established by the data server based on the connection request. A connection status message is received by the middleware server from the data server indicating a status of the connection request. A trust indicator for the connection is established at the data server according to a trust status identified by the set of attributes for the middleware server.
