摘要: Described is a process for the production of a multi-layer body having a volume hologram with at least two different items of image information, wherein a photosensitive layer (46) of the multi-layer body is directly or with the interposition of a transparent optical medium (44s, 45) brought into contact with the front side of a master (44), in which interlaced regions with different asymmetrical surface structures or kinoform structures are shaped, which embody the at least two different items of image information. The photosensitive layer (46) and the master are exposed with a coherent light beam (47) whereby a volume hologram is formed in the photosensitive layer (46). Also described are a master for the production of the multi-layer body and a security element having said multi-layer body.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for producing a multilayer element (100), and also to a multilayer element (100) produced by said method. On and/or in a carrier ply (1) a decorative ply (3) is formed. The decorative ply (3) has a first region (8) and a second region (9). Viewed perpendicular to the plane of the carrier ply (1), the decorative ply (3) has in the first region (8) a first transmittance and in the second region (9) a second transmittance greater in comparison to the first transmittance. A layer (5) to be structured and a photoactivatable resist layer are disposed on the first side (11) of the carrier ply (1). On exposure of the resist layer through the decorative ply (3), the decorative ply (3) serves as an exposure mask. The at least one layer (5) to be structured and the resist layer are structured in register to one another by means of structuring operations synchronized with one another.

摘要: A multi-layer body having a partially shaped first layer and a diffractive first relief structure shaped in a first region of a replication layer. The first layer is applied to the replication layer in the first region and, in a second region, a photosensitive layer is applied to the first layer or a photosensitive washing mask is applied thereto as a replication layer. The photosensitive layer or the washing mask is exposed through the first layer so that the photosensitive layer or washing mask is exposed differently due to the first relief structure in the first and in the second regions, and the first layer is removed using the exposed photosensitive layer or washing mask as a mask layer in the first region but not in the second region or in the second region but not in the first region.

摘要: An optically variable surface pattern includes at least one graphic representation producing an achromatic impression when viewed in visible light over a certain angular range without noticeable color fringes occurring in the adjoining angular ranges. A plane surface portion includes a grating structure which disperses incident light with comparable intensity into a cone within a predetermined angle range regardless of differing wavelength. An overlap of several successive high orders of diffraction results in a recombination of the dispersed light to white light at any diffraction angle within the cone. The surface portion viewed from a direction within the cone reflects white light, in contrast to a simple flat mirror which has a very narrow range of specular reflection. At viewing angles outside the cone, the surface portion is dim or dark grey. The shape of the surface portion is then recognized as an area white lit or dark depending upon a particular viewing angle relative to incident light.

摘要: A security element (1), in particular value document, and a process for producing same are described. The security element has a pattern area (21), consisting of one or more design elements (22), the shape of which provides a first optically perceptible item of information. It furthermore has a background area (20) surrounding the one or more design elements of the pattern area at least in areas. The security element (1) has an opaque reflective layer which is not provided in the background area (20), and in the pattern area (21) is provided in first zones (31), but not in second zones. The first zones (31) are spaced apart from each other by less than 300 μm and have a minimum dimension of less than 300 μm.
