    摘要: The present invention relates to the use of a copolymer comprising, in polymerized form, (a) from 80 to 99.9 mol %, based on the total amount of the monomers polymerized to prepare the copolymer, of at least one monomer A which in each case comprises a heterocycle having at least 1 nitrogen atom and composed of from 3 to 10 ring members and a C2-C6-alkenyl group bonded to a carbon or nitrogen ring atom of the heterocycle; and (b) from 0.1 to 20 mol %, based on the total amount of the monomers polymerized to prepare the copolymer, of at least one monomer B copolymerizable with monomer A, said monomer B having a monoethylenically unsaturated double bond and also a linear or branched poly-C2-C4-alkylene oxide group having on average from 4 to 500 C2-C4-alkylene oxide units, in liquid and in solid detergent formulations. In addition, the invention relates to a process for preparing such a copolymer, and also to a liquid or solid detergent formulation comprising at least one such copolymer.

    摘要: A material suitable as crosslinking binder component for pigment-containing coatings and having an average molecular weight of from 25,000 to 150,000, obtainable by reacting a polyurethane comprising a diol having a molecular weight between 400 and 4,000, an aliphatic or cycloaliphatic diol of 2-18 carbon atoms, an aromatic diol of 8-36 carbon atoms, a trihydric or polyhydric alcohol of 3-18 carbon atoms, a polyhydric alcohol of 3-40 carbon atoms containing a tertiary amino group, and a diisocyanate of 3-34 carbon atoms with a compound containing one or more hydroxyl groups and one or more amino groups reactive toward isocyanate groups. The materials may be used as crosslinkable binder components for pigment-containing coatings, in particular for the production of magnetic recording materials.

    摘要: Gravity sedimentation of a first aqueous suspension of solid particles in a vessel results in formation of a second aqueous suspension of solid particles in the present invention. The process involves adding at least one organic polymeric flocculant to the first aqueous suspension to form a suspension of flocculated solid. The flocculated solids settle to form a bed of consolidated solids. Introducing an effective amount of an agent into the bed of consolidated solids or into the flocculated solids that are settling leads to formation of the second aqueous suspension. The second aqueous suspension of solid particles has a higher solids content than the first aqueous suspension of solid particles. The agent is a free radical agent or an oxidizing agent.
