摘要: A vehicle control method is applied to a vehicle 1 in which a front wheel 2 is driven by an engine 4, and the method includes a basic torque setting step of setting basic torque to be generated by the engine 4, based on an operational state of the vehicle 1; an acceleration torque setting step of setting acceleration torque, based on a reduction in steering angle of a steering apparatus 5 mounted on the vehicle 1; a torque generation step of controlling the engine 4 so that torque based on the basic torque and the acceleration torque is generated; and an acceleration torque changing step of changing the acceleration torque, based on a vehicle-width-direction mounting position of a steering wheel 6 and an operation direction of the steering wheel 6 when the steering angle is reduced. Thus, vehicle posture control is performed in consideration of the vehicle-width-direction mounting position of the steering wheel 6 and the operation direction of the steering wheel 6, so that a driver fatigue reduction effect of the vehicle posture control can be secured appropriately.

摘要: A control unit performs a vehicle attitude control to reduce a torque generated by an engine when an increase in a steering angle exceeds a standard increase, and a spark ignition controlled compression ignition combustion in a predetermined operating range. In the spark ignition controlled compression ignition combustion, switching of an air-fuel ratio mode is performed between a first air-fuel ratio mode (λ>1) is formed and a second air-fuel ratio mode (in which a mixed gas of λ≤1) is formed. If the switching of the air-fuel ratio mode is requested without the vehicle attitude control, the control unit allows performing the requested switching of the air-fuel ratio mode. In contrast, if the mode switching is requested in a state where the vehicle attitude control is requested, the control unit disallows switching of the air-fuel ratio mode even when the switching of the air-fuel ratio mode is requested.

This vehicle control method comprises: a basic torque setting step of setting, based on a driving state of the vehicle, a basic torque to be generated by the prime mover; a decremental torque setting step of setting a decremental torque such that the basic torque is reduced in accordance with a decrease in steering angle of a steering device (26) equipped in the vehicle; and a torque generation step of controlling the prime mover to generate a torque which is determined by reducing the basic torque based on the decremental torque.

摘要: Disclosed is a vehicle control device which is applied to a vehicle equipped with an engine (10) and an engine torque adjustment mechanism for adjusting an engine torque. The control device comprises a PCM (50) configured, upon satisfaction of a condition that the vehicle is traveling and a steering angle-related value relevant to a steering angle of a steering device is increasing, to control the engine torque adjustment mechanism to reduce the engine torque, so as to execute a vehicle attitude control for generating vehicle deceleration. The PCM (50) is configured, upon satisfaction of a vehicle attitude control-terminating condition for terminating the vehicle attitude control, to control the engine torque adjustment mechanism to restore the engine torque to an original level of torque before the execution of the vehicle attitude control. The PCM (50) is further configured to gradually ease the vehicle attitude control-terminating condition, as the number of times of combustion per unit time in the engine (10) becomes smaller.

摘要: When an incremental amount of a steering angle exceeds a reference incremental amount, an ECU 60 executes vehicle attitude control of reducing an output torque of an engine, and, in a given operating range, drives a spark plug 16 to allow an air-fuel mixture to be self-ignited at a given timing, thereby executing SPCCI combustion. When there is a request for an additional deceleration from the vehicle attitude control (#12: YES) and the SPCCI combustion is performed (#13: YES), the ECU 60 prohibits ignition retardation and performs torque reduction for the vehicle attitude control, by fuel amount reduction control of reducing the amount of fuel to be supplied into a cylinder 2 (#14). On the other hand, when the SPCCI combustion is not performed (NO in #13), the ECU 60 performs the ignition retardation to attain the torque reduction for the vehicle attitude control (#15).

The control method for the vehicle includes: a step of adding the deceleration that corresponds to an accelerator pedal depression amount to a vehicle 1 when the accelerator pedal depression amount is smaller than a specified value A1 that is larger than 0; a step of determining whether the turning operation of the steering system is performed on the basis of a steering angle detected by a steering angle sensor 8; a step of adding the deceleration to the vehicle 1 so as to control the vehicle posture when it is determined that the turning operation of the steering system is performed; and a step of setting the deceleration added to the vehicle to a smaller value when the accelerator pedal depression amount is smaller than the specified value and is a first value than when the accelerator pedal depression amount is smaller than the specified value and is a second value (>the first value).
