Abstract:
A device monitors execution of a safety workflow, the safety workflow comprising one or more triggers and one or more responsive actions. The device provides, at a display screen, an indication of the safety workflow and respective visual indications of: a physical sensor that generated sensor data of a trigger of the safety workflow; and a communication device associated with a responsive action to the trigger. The device detects, via an input device, an interaction with one or more of the respective visual indications to interact with one or more of the physical sensor and the communication device. Based on the interaction, the device one or more of: initiates communication with the communication device; and sends the sensor data to the communication device.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are methods and systems for presenting prioritized incident content. One embodiment takes the form of a method that includes receiving one or more status alerts from one or more public-safety devices associated with one or more public-safety responders. The method also includes correlating one or more of the received status alerts with one or more media sessions involving one or more of the public-safety responders. The method also includes prioritizing one or more of the media sessions based on prioritization criteria that includes the one or more status alerts correlated with those media sessions. The method also includes presenting one or more of the prioritized media sessions in a chronological view on respective user interfaces of one or more public-safety communication devices.
Abstract:
A security ecosystem, device and method for communicating with communication devices based on workflow interactions is provided. Based on the interaction, the device one or more of: retrieves the sensor data; initiates communication with the communication device; and sends the sensor data to the communication device.
Abstract:
In an emergency, a gateway application, which has been installed on a mobile communications device, is actuated to advise a public safety answering point (PSAP) in a public safety (PS) network of the emergency, and to disable restrictions on application downloading to the mobile device. Once the emergency has been confirmed by the PSAP, an emergency application, which has been selected by the PSAP, is downloaded to the mobile device. The downloaded emergency application can be executed by the PSAP and/or by a PS person, to remotely control the mobile device to help remedy the emergency. The downloaded emergency application can be removed from the mobile device upon closing of the emergency.
