Abstract: A method for docking an unmanned aerial vehicle (“UAV”) equipped with a wireless communications system. The method includes coupling the UAV to a docking device that is configured to provide power and data communication to the UAV via a physical interface. The method further includes receiving, at a docking device controller, an identity of the UAV, and determining, based on the received identity of the UAV, an organization associated with the UAV. The method also includes accessing, via the docking device controller, a collaborative operating profile associated with the determined organization and the identity of the UAV. The method further includes providing access to one or more resources associated with the docking station based on the collaborative operating profile.

Abstract: A method of routing communications from a mobile device to a target device. A non-whispered speech target device routing list and a whispered speech target device routing list are stored at a memory that is accessible by the mobile device. The mobile device identifies speech characteristics associated with a speech input and further determines whether the speech input corresponds to a whispered speech based on the speech characteristics. When it is determined that the speech input corresponds to a whispered speech, the mobile device routes communications corresponding to the speech input to each target device included in the whispered speech target device routing list. When it is determined that the speech input does not correspond to a whispered speech, the mobile device either routes or refrains from routing communications corresponding to the speech input to each target device included in the non-whispered speech target device routing list.

Abstract: Systems and methods for filtering objects of interest associated with an investigation. One method includes receiving a role identifier. The method includes retrieving metadata corresponding to the plurality of objects of interest. The method includes determining, with a classifier, a plurality of relationships between at least two of the objects of interest based on the metadata. The method includes identifying, based on the metadata, a subset of the plurality of relationships that are associated with the role identifier, the subset of the plurality of relationships including a subset of the plurality of objects of interest. The method includes generating a graphical representation including a first indication of the subset of the objects of interest and a second indication of the subset of the plurality of relationships. The method includes presenting the graphical representation on a display communicatively coupled to the electronic processor.

Abstract: A method for providing a customized user interface for group communication at a communication device is provided. An electronic processor determines a list of communication groups with which a user identifier of the communication device is registered and identifies a communication group type for each communication group in the list based on service capabilities of the respective communication group. The electronic processor assigns a set of communication group types for the user identifier and determines a type of group communication application to be configured at the communication device. The electronic processor then generates user interface elements as a function of the set of communication group types and the type of group communication application and configures the group communication application including the user interface elements at the communication device for supporting group communication.

Abstract: Methods and systems for a collaborative work environment. One system includes a monitoring computer communicatively coupled to a first computer-aided workstation and a second computer-aided workstation. Abstract: A device, system and method for controlling a passage barrier mechanism is provided. While failing to detect, via a biometric imaging system in communication with a passage barrier mechanism, unauthorized users in a first area of interest of the biometric imaging system, a device: maintains the passage barrier mechanism in a multiple entry state in which multiple users at a time authenticate, via the biometric imaging system, and enter therethrough. Responsive to detecting, via the biometric imaging system, an unauthorized user in the first area of interest, the device: transitions the passage barrier mechanism from the multiple entry state to a single entry state in which only a single user at a time authenticates, via the biometric imaging system, and enters therethrough; and changes a biometric authentication range of the biometric imaging system from the first area of interest to a smaller second area of interest.

Abstract: A computer apparatus, such as a validator node, for validating incident-related data records in a distributed electronic ledger is configured to receive a request from an agent to add a proposed incident-related data record associated with an incident to the distributed electronic ledger. In response to the proposed incident-related data record, the computer apparatus determines, from the distributed electronic ledger, one or more attributes of the agent or incident. The computer apparatus determines whether the proposed incident-related data record satisfies validation criteria based at least partially on the one or more attributes of the agent or incident. Once validated, the computer apparatus may then append the proposed incident-related data record to the distributed electronic ledger. Alternatively, the proposed incident-related data record may be appended regardless of validity, but an indication of validity may be appended if the proposed incident-related data record is validated.

Abstract: A computer apparatus, such as a validator node, for validating data records in a distributed electronic ledger may be configured to receive a proposed data record submitted by an originating agent of an originating agency to a distributed ledger. In response to the proposed incident-related data record, other agents within the originating agency may, based on validation criteria, submit one or more responsive data records that may provide information for use in determining a validity of the proposed incident-related data record. Validator nodes hosted by external agencies may submit validation responses relative to a validity of the proposed incident-related data record. The system may determine that the proposed data record is valid. Based a consensus algorithm, the system may responsively append the proposed data record or an indication of validity to the distributed ledger or to a different distributed ledger.
