    Abstract: A vehicular control system includes an electronic control unit (ECU) that includes (i) a next stack activation size hardware register and (ii) a hardware memory initializer configured to initialize memory. The ECU determines a maximum stack size of a vehicle control function called by a root function. The vehicle control function controls a system of the equipped vehicle. The next stack activation size hardware register stores a value equivalent to the determined maximum stack size of the first function. The ECU, prior to executing the vehicle function and while executing the root function, triggers execution of the hardware memory initializer. The hardware memory initializer initializes memory in parallel with execution of the root function based on the next stack activation size hardware register. The ECU executes the vehicle control function responsive to receiving an indication of completion from the hardware memory initializer indicating the memory initialization is complete.

    Abstract: A vehicular driving assist system includes a camera disposed at a vehicle equipped with the vehicular driving assist system and viewing forward of the vehicle, the camera capturing image data. An electronic control unit (ECU) includes electronic circuitry and associated software. The electronic circuitry of the ECU includes an image processor for processing image data captured by the camera. The ECU, responsive to processing by the image processor of image data captured by the camera, determines presence of a leading vehicle traveling in front of the equipped vehicle and in the same traffic lane as the equipped vehicle. The ECU, responsive to determining presence of the leading vehicle, determines presence of a pothole in front of the vehicle and in the same traffic lane as the equipped vehicle.

    Abstract: A vehicular navigation system includes a sensor disposed at a vehicle. The sensor is operable to capture sensor data. Electronic circuitry of an electronic control unit (ECU) includes a data processor operable to process sensor data captured by the sensor to determine an attribute of the vehicle associated with a quality of a road along which the vehicle is traveling. The ECU determines a road quality index of the road along which the vehicle is traveling based at least in part on the determined attribute of the vehicle. The ECU determines a navigation route from a starting location to a destination location based at least in part on the road quality index of roads connecting the starting location and the destination location.

The system includes at least one cooling element at the insulated compartment and operable to cool an interior cavity of the insulated compartment. The control, responsive to receiving a signal indicative of a user selected temperature that is selected by a user via operating a user input of the vehicular compartment temperature control system, and responsive to determination that the determined temperature of the interior cavity of the insulated compartment is greater than the user selected temperature by at least a threshold amount, controls the at least one cooling element to adjust temperature of the interior cavity of the insulated compartment toward the user selected temperature.
