摘要： A mobile communication terminal in accordance with the present invention includes a first wireless communication unit 102 corresponding to a first wireless communication system, an interface 107 detachably connecting an external apparatus 200, a determination unit 111 for determining whether or not the external apparatus 200 connected to the interface 107 corresponds to a second wireless communication system and is a second wireless communication unit 202 consuming less power than the first wireless communication unit 102, a battery voltage detection unit 104 for detecting battery voltage of a power supply unit 103 containing a battery and a control unit 111 for controlling the first wireless communication unit 102 to be in a disabled state when the first wireless communication unit 102 is communicating and the battery voltage detected by the battery voltage detection unit 104 is equal to or less than the predetermined value in the case where connection of the second wireless communication unit 202 is determined by the determination unit 111. Thus multimode communication depending on the battery voltage can be executed efficiently without causing unexpected circumstances to the user.

摘要： A mobile camera system is provided in which a user can view images of various desired locations while staying in a location remote from those locations. A control server acquires positions of a plurality of mobile camera apparatuses set up on mobile bodies such as vehicles, and images that are acquired by the mobile camera apparatuses, via radio communication. Then, the control server manages the positions and the images in its image DB. Then, in response to an imaging request that is issued from a terminal apparatus to designate a location (area), the control server searches for the image satisfying the request, in the image DB, or newly acquires the image satisfying the request, from the mobile camera apparatus. Then, the control server transmits the image to the terminal apparatus via radio communication.

A camera device capable of selectively photographing panoramic images and stereo images includes a casing (1D) fixed with a photographic lens (11D), and a casing (1U) that is fixed with a photographic lens (11U) and that moves relative to the casing (1D) while facing the casing (1D); wherein in cases in which the photographic lenses (11D) and (11U) are disposed in open, mutually spaced apart positions by relative movement of the case (1U), the optical axes of the photographic lenses (11D) and (11U) are placed in positions capable of photographing stereo images; and in cases in which the photographic lenses (11D) and (11U) are disposed in closed, mutually proximal positions by relative movement of the case (1U), the optical axes of the photographic lenses (11D) and (11U) are placed in positions capable of photographing panoramic images.

A transmitting apparatus transmits an optical signal corresponding to data. The transmitting apparatus modulates intensity of the optical signal into intensity corresponding to a distance over which the data is to be delivered and outputs this intensity-modulated optical signal. This allows the transmitting apparatus to change the intensity of the optical signal corresponding to the data according to a distance to a receiving apparatus that receives the data, which thus allows the receiving apparatus to surely receive the data.
