    摘要: Disclosed is a solid polymer electrolyte having anode means in contact with the anodic portion thereof, and cathode means in contact with the cathodic portion thereof. The anodic portion has higher cation selectivity than the cathodic portion, whereby to prevent migration to the anolyte of hydroxyl ion evolved in or on the membrane. Also disclosed are an electrolytic cell containing the solid polymer electrolyte, and an electrolytic process utilizing the solid polymer electrolyte.
