    摘要: A process for the preparation of new dyestuff compositions which contain one or more basic dyestuffs in the form of dyestuff bases from the series of the triarylmethane, indoldiarylmethane, azine, oxazine, thiazine or xanthene dyestuffs or one or more basic dyestuffs of the series of the azo, anthraquinone, phthalocyanine, styryl, quinophthalone, benzoxanthene, naphthoylene-benzimidazole, naphthalimide or nitro series, carrying a primary, secondary or tertiary amino group or a guanidino or hydrazino group, as well as one or more non-ionic or slightly cationic surface-active agents and, optionally, water and/or an organic solvent miscible with water, which process comprises synthesizing the dyestuff in the surface-active agent optionally containing water and/or an organic solvent miscible with water, and then adding, if necessary, water and/or a solvent miscible with water and a further surface-active agent, this process of the invention having the advantage that an intermediate isolation, drying or grinding of the dyestuffs contained in the dyestuff compositions defined above is not necessary, so that the dyestuffs need not be introduced as substance into the surface-active agent and the solvent in a process wherein compositions of this type are prepared by a usual mixing, kneading or melting process; moreover, higher dyestuff yields are obtained in the dyestuff synthesis, and it allows to prepare dyestuff compositions from dyestuffs which are difficult to be isolated in substance after synthesis and often precipitate as oily or smeary products. The dyestuff compositions obtained according to the process of the invention, which are pastes or liquids, have a high stability upon storage. After being diluted with an aqueous solution of an amount at least equivalent to the dyestuff of an inorganic or organic acid, as well as, optionally, after the addition of dyeing and/or printing auxiliaries, the novel dyestuff compositions are suitable for dyeing or printing textile material containing acid groups.

    摘要: A novel process had been found for preparing novel violet dyestuffs of the triphenylmethane series which is characterized by that an aluminum chloride or borotrifluoride or iron-III-chloride-complex compound of a 4,4',4"-trihalogenotriphenylmethylhalide is reacted with phenyl- or naphthylamine which are substituted in the m- or p-position in a molar ratio of 1 to 1.5 at 110.degree. to 135.degree. C and in an inert organic solvent, and the mono-phenyl or -naphthylamino- substituted halide formed is reacted with 5 - 20 mols of an ortho-substituted phenyl- or naphthylamine at 150.degree. to 190.degree. C. The dyestuffs so prepared are well suitable for printing paper and plastics and dyeing polyacrylonitrile fibers.

    摘要: An improved process for the preparation of symmetric 4-halogeno-4',4"-diarylamino-triphenyl-methane compounds by reacting a complex compound of a 4,4',4"-trihalogeno-triphenyl-methyl-halide and aliminiumchloride, iron(III)chloride or bortrifluoride with an aromatic amine, which is substituted in m- or p-position to the amino group, at an elevated temperature had been found wherein 1 mol of the complex compound is reacted with more than 4 mol of the aromatic amine and the so obtained complex compound from 4-halogen-4',4"-diarylamino-triphenyl-methyl-halide and aluminiumchloride, iron(III)chloride or bortrifluoride is subsequently converted into the anhydro- or carbinol base of the dyestuff with the aid of an aqueous alkali metal hydroxide solution whereupon the salt of the dyestuff is precipitated by addition of an acid in excess.This novel process obviates the formation of red mono- and blue tri-reaction products, the use of solvents and leads to very clean products which are very well suitable for spin-dyeing solutions.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a process for the preparation of hydroxycarboxanilides of the formula (1) ##STR1## in which R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are identical or different and are hydrogen, halogen, a nitro group, a cyano group, a straight-chain or branched alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl or alkoxy group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms, an aralkyl group having 7 to 12 carbon atoms, a cycloalkyl group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms or an aryl group having 6 to 12 carbon atoms, R.sup.3 is hydrogen or a straight-chain or branched alkyl group having 1 to 12 carbon atoms and n is an integer from 1 to 12, by reacting a halocarboxanilide of the formula (2) ##STR2## in which R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and n have the same meaning as in formula (1) and Hal is chlorine, bromine or iodine, with a basic compound in a solvent mixture comprising water and one or more polar aprotic solvents at a temperature of 40.degree. to 180.degree. C.
