    摘要： A method and apparatus for performing actions while selecting objects on a user interface display. A user may select a first item in an area of a display controlled by a first process and drag that item to a second area on a display controlled by a second process. The second process may negotiate with the first process to provide certain data types, and based upon those data types, the second process will determine a list of actions in hierarchical fashion which may be performed upon the data. Such actions may include, but are not limited to, printing, sending electronic mail, and performing other actions in the computer system. Alternative and primary actions may also be specified by a user, such as by selecting various keys on a keyboard or other input device. Further, a user may specify that the second process display a list of actions which may be performed upon the selected item and allow the user to select an action from a list.

    摘要： The disclosed subject matter relates to an architecture that can scale content resolution in order to mitigate errors in a provisioned service of a communication network, such as a wireless service or a femtocell service that integrates with DSL or other broadband carriers. The architecture can identify fault conditions relating to e.g., bandwidth oversubscription or symbolization integrity. Based upon such identification, the architecture can alter encoding format codecs of certain types of content in order to reduce their resolution/quality, thereby mitigating bandwidth oversubscription fault conditions or freeing up space (without necessarily increasing bandwidth) to insert additional FEC code.

    摘要： A method of making an injection moulded container for housing information storage media, e.g. a DVD, the container having a base portion (10) and a lid portion (11) moveable about a spine portion (12) between open and closed configurations and holding means (15) for holding the media within the container, the method involving the use of an injection moulding tool comprising two carrier units (40, 41) each adapted to receive a plurality of inserts therein which define a cavity for forming the container: a first set of the inserts (50-59) for forming a first set of features of the container being formed of a first material, e.g. steel, and a second set of. inserts (42-45) for forming a second set of features of the container being formed of a second material, e.g a copper alloy, the first set of inserts (50-59) being machined to the required shape for fitting within the carrier units (40, 41) and for forming the first set of features and the second set of inserts (42-45) being machined so as to fit within the carrier units (40, 41) but one or more of the second set of inserts (42-45) being formed with excess material on surfaces thereof defining said second set of features pending a decision as to the precise shape of said second set of features, whereby once a decision has been made the tool can be completed by machining said excess material to the required shape and assembling the inserts in the mould.

The systems and methods may involve analyzing a source language construct of the source data integration platform to determine a logical syntax; constructing a target language construct of the target data integration platform adapted to perform the same logical operation on the target data integration platform as the source language construct performs on the source data integration platform; and substituting the target language construct for the source language construct in the source code for the data integration job.
