摘要:
A method of controlling the load of a wind turbine is provided. A rate of wear experienced by the wind turbine as a result of the current operating conditions of the wind turbine is determined. A control vector for controlling the wind turbine is determined based on the determined rate of wear. The load of the wind turbine is controlled in accordance with the determined control vector. Determining the control vector includes weighting the determined rate of wear by a cost of electricity value and determining the control vector based on the weighted rate of wear.

A method for controlling a wind turbine with a rotor and at least one rotor blade, and a control unit are disclosed. The method is characterised in adjusting a pitch angle of the rotor blade and determining the limit of an input value based on the adjusted pitch angle, wherein the input value includes information about the turbine rotational speed.

A method for determining a total mechanical load of a wind turbine is provided. A present load signal indicative of a present load of a wind turbine base structure is obtained, wherein the present load acts in a present angular direction. A first present load and a second present load are derived based upon the present load signal and the present angular direction, wherein the first present load is associated with a first angular sector of the turbine and the second present load is associated with a second angular sector of the turbine. Further, a total mechanical load is derived based upon the first present load and the second present load.

A thermal energy storage and recovery device is provided including a container having a first fluid terminal for inserting heat transfer medium into the interior of the container and a second fluid terminal for extracting heat transfer medium from the interior of the container, a heat storage material for receiving thermal energy from the heat transfer medium when in a first operational mode and releasing thermal energy to the heat transfer medium when in a second operational mode, and a plurality of enclosures each filled at least partially with a part of the heat storage material. The enclosures are spatially arranged within the container so a flow of the heat transfer medium is guidable between the first and second fluid terminals and a direct thermal contact between the heat transfer medium and the enclosures is achievable as the heat transfer medium flows between the first and second fluid terminals.

A device for facilitating handling of a wind turbine blade is provided. The device includes an inflatable member adapted to be arranged at the wind turbine blade such that the inflatable member covers at least a part of the wind turbine blade, wherein, when the inflatable member is arranged at the wind turbine blade and inflated, an aerodynamic drag coefficient of the wind turbine blade with the arranged inflatable member is less than an aerodynamic drag coefficient of the wind turbine blade. Further, there is described a system for handling a wind turbine blade, and a method of facilitating handling of a wind turbine blade.

A method of optimising a construction of a basis of a wind turbine is provided. A local load environment situation of a construction location is analysed, which results in local load-relevant environment data, based on which construction instructions are generated. These are further based on a set of predefined rules for processing the local load-relevant environment data, such that in a first selected region of the basis along a circumference of the tower and/or in a first selected region of the foundation the carrying structure of the basis is weakened in at least one selected horizontal cross-section with respect to possible maximum loads in comparison with a second region of the basis in the selected cross-section.

A thermal energy storage and recovery arrangement is provided. The arrangement has a first thermal energy storage, a compression and expansion unit coupled thereto, and a second thermal energy storage coupled to the compression and expansion unit. The first and second thermal energy storage are adapted to work at a temperature equal to or higher than ambient temperature. In a charging mode, the first thermal energy storage is adapted for receiving and releasing thermal energy to a received working medium. The compression and expansion unit is adapted for receiving and compressing the working medium from the first thermal energy storage. The second thermal energy storage is adapted for receiving the compressed working medium and thermal energy therefrom and storing at least part of this energy. The compression and expansion unit is adapted for receiving the compressed working medium from the second thermal energy storage and expanding the compressed working medium.
