摘要: An ink liquid supply system for an ink jet system printer includes an ink intake needle formed in a body of the ink liquid supply system, and an ink cartridge removably mounted on the body of the ink liquid supply system. The ink cartridge includes an opening covered by a rubber seal through which the ink intake needle is inserted when the ink cartridge is mounted on the body of the ink liquid supply system. An ink liquid absorbing pad is attached to the rubber seal so as to cover the seal rubber. The ink liquid absorbing pad functions to prevent the ink liquid from dripping onto the body of the ink liquid supply system when the ink cartridge containing ink is denounted from the body of the ink liquid supply system.

摘要: A ripple regulating system is disposed in a liquid supply system for minimizing pressure ripples generated by a pump employed in the liquid supply system. The ripple regulating system includes a pressure chamber of which one wall comprises a bellowphragm. A spring is secured to the bellowphragm to apply a predetermined pressure to the pressure chamber. A detection system is associated with the pressure chamber for detecting a balance pressure variation. When the balance pressure becomes higher than the preselected level, an adjusting system is operated to increase the depression pressure generated by the spring, thereby maintaining the constant flow rate supply.

摘要: A plurality of ink droplet issuance units are provided for emitting plural streams of ink droplets toward a record receiving paper. The ink droplets in the respective streams are charged by a bi-valued signal through the use of a plurality of charging means in accordance with print information. The ink droplets charged by one value of the bi-valued signal are deflected as they pass through a deflection means and deposited on the record receiving paper. The ink droplets charged by the other value of the bi-valued signal are directed to a beam gutter and not deposited on the record receiving paper. In this way, one column of a dot matrix pattern is printed at a time utilizing plural streams of ink droplets.

摘要: In a temperature control having a heating element and a temperature sensor for sensing the temperature of an object being heated by the heating element and providing signals effective to control electric energy to be supplied to the heating element, there is provided compensator means for compensating for a variation in the temperature of the object which may be caused by heat resistance and other factors while transmitting heat from the heating element to the object. The temperature of the object is equivalent to a desired one without any influences of the heat resistance. In one preferred form, an operational amplifier having two input terminals is provided one connected to the temperature sensor such as a thermistor and the other connected to a reference potential representative of the desired temperature. An output terminal of the operational amplifier is connected to the heating element. A feedback loop is interposed between the output terminal and the reference input terminal of the operational amplifier for heat resistance compensation.

摘要: A paper sheet setting mechanism in a printer such as an ink jet system printer includes a memory device which stores a desired left setting position at which a left paper pressing roller should be positioned, and a desired right setting position at which a right paper pressing roller should be positioned. C-shaped guide plates are secured to the paper pressing rollers. Each of the C-shaped guide plates includes a roof member which is made contact with a pritrusion secured to a printer head when a shaft of the paper pressing rollers is held at a first stable position. When the printer head is driven to shift while the shaft is held at the first stable position, the paper pressing rollers are shifted on the shaft and controlled to be positioned at the desired left and right setting positions, respectively.

摘要: In a temperature control system having a heating element and a temperature sensor for sensing the temperature generated by the heating element and providing signals effective to control electric energy to be supplied to the heating element, both the heating element and the temperature sensor are implemented with a single element structure for example a power transistor, which is enabled as a heating element during a first period of time and as a temperature sensor during a second period of time. Thus, the heating/temperature sensing element is enabled on a time-shared basis, compensating for heat resistance incurred during transmission of heat from the heating element to the temperature detecting element. Such a temperature control is useful with precision devices such as an ink jet printer.

摘要: In an ink jet system printer of the charge amplitude controlling type, wherein a printing head is transported in a horizontal direction and vertical deflection is achieved by a pair of high voltage deflection plates, it is required to transport the printing head at a fixed velocity in the printing process. More particularly, in order to execute intermittent printing by repetition of the transporting and stopping of the printing head in response to intermittent input signals, it is necessary that printing is restricted during the time required for increasing the velocity of the printing head to a desired level and then permitted after that time. The present invention provides a system wherein the generation of printing start signals is delayed by a predetermined period following the application of input signals, and also a system wherein printing start signals are generated when the actual velocity of the head has been sensed as reaching the desired velocity.
