    摘要: A laser beam type distance measuring device comprises a laser beam emitter; a returning laser beam detector; a polygon mirror rotated about a first axis for reflecting a going laser beam from the laser beam emitter toward a remote object and reflecting a returning laser beam from the object toward a given optical track along which the returning laser beam travels to the returning laser beam detector; and a nodding mechanism for pivoting the polygon mirror about a second axis which is perpendicular to the first axis. These parts are housed in a case which has a window opening through which the going and returning laser beams pass. An outwardly swelled transparent cover covers the window opening in such a manner that a depressed inner surface thereof faces toward the polygon mirror in the case. A shielding plate is installed in the case near the polygon mirror to prevent the going laser beam from entering the given optical track.

    摘要: A distance-velocity predicting system has an illuminator for projecting a light beam for searching for an obstacle, and a plurality of position sensors spaced at a distance corresponding to a base line length. A minimum value of a distance component from the base line to an obstacle lying in a direction perpendicular to the base line, which is obtained from the light beam and the position sensors, or a value in the neighborhood of the minimum value, is sampled to obtain time-series data, and a relative velocity component in a direction perpendicular to the base line with respect to the obstacle is obtained in real time by using the time-series data. The relative velocity component perpendicular to the base line is compared with a predetermined threshold value, and when the relative velocity component exceeds the threshold value, a starting signal for life protecting equipment is generated.

    摘要: A laser beam type distance measuring device comprising a laser beam emitter; a laser beam receiver having a going laser beam sensor and a returning laser beam sensor; an electrical signal processing circuit connected to the going and returning laser beam sensors; a returning laser beam guide way leading to the returning laser beam sensor; a polygon mirror for reflecting a going laser beam from the laser beam emitter toward a remote object and reflecting a returning laser beam from the object toward the returning laser beam guide way along which the returning laser beam travels to the returning laser beam sensor; and a reference optical track having one end directed to the laser beam emitter and the other end directed to the going laser beam sensor, so that a first part of the going laser beam from the laser beam emitter travels to the going laser beam sensor through the reference optical track. In the present invention, there is further provided a laser transmitting member, such as an optical fiber, which is arranged in parallel with path to and from the object. The laser transmitting member has one end directed to the laser beam emitter and the other end directed to the returning laser beam sensor, so that a second part of the going laser beam from the laser beam emitter travels to the returning laser beam sensor through the laser transmitting member.

    摘要: A two-dimensional rangefinding sensor of the present invention consisting of an illuminating device for projecting light beams, which undergoes luminance modulation at a predetermined frequency for a predetermined duration with a predetermined cycle time, onto an object, an image-formation optical system for forming an image of the object illuminated with light beams which have undergone the luminance modulation and which have been projected from the illuminating device, a two-dimensional image sensor mounted on an image-formation plane of the image-formation optical system, a driving means for performing a modulation driving operation on an electrode terminal, which is operative to determine the sensitivity of the two-dimensional image sensor at the frequency, and a reading means for reading a signal corresponding to a signal charge generated in each of picture elements of the image sensors. Thereby, a range-data image of a three-dimensional object can be obtained by using a two-dimensional image sensor without mechanically scanning with illumination light.

    摘要: In an oxygen sensor of the type having an oxygen ion conductive tube of solid electrolyte, a ceramic heater disposed within the oxygen ion conductive tube for heating the same is in the form of a quadrangular prism or a bar of a rectangular cross section. The ceramic heater is formed by piling up ceramic green sheets with metallic thick-film patterns for heat generating resistors interposed between adjacent two of the ceramic green sheets. The ceramic heater is so shaped as to satisfy the relation of b/a=0.75.about.1 where "a" is the width and "b" is the thickness of the ceramic heater. The metallic thick films, which the metallic thick-film patterns are turned to by firing, are arranged so as to be parallel to the side surfaces opposed in the thickness direction of the ceramic heater.

    摘要: An image processing apparatus receives an image signal and generates a display image having an image range associated with a display area of a display unit from an image based on the image signal. The image processing apparatus includes a position-of-interest-calculating-unit, a frame-out-accuracy-calculation-unit, an alteration-variable-decision-unit and an image-alteration-unit. The position-of-interest-calculating-unit calculates a position of interest as a position of an object of interest in the image. The frame-out-accuracy-calculation-unit calculates a frame-out accuracy representing an accuracy that the position of interest deviates from the image range based on the position of interest and the image range. The alteration-variable-decision-unit decides a processing variable of alteration processing performed with respect to the image in conformity with the frame-out accuracy.
