摘要: A thermal printer drive control apparatus of the type having a thermal print head comprising a plurality of heating elements provides for reliable cost effective thermal head temperature detection by means of producing multiple, different current flow intervals that are applied to binary data to produce data drive signals for the heating elements. The current flow intervals are based upon historical drive data derived from linear temperature conditions sensed at the thermal print head. This information is converted to a digitized representation for use in conjunction with a table placed in memory that provides predetermined current flow intervals based upon the digitized representation. Further, circuitry is provided to produce heating element drive signals having pulse widths based upon the determined current flow intervals.

摘要: A paper cutter includes a blade extending in the width of a rolled paper, the blade having a linear edge and a serrated edge formed at an end of the linear edge. A paper guide for discharging the paper is disposed downstream from the cutter, the paper guide having an upper and a lower member and a discharge port at the downstream end thereof. A cutout section is formed at the upper member of the paper guide, and the position of the cutout section corresponds to the serrated blade edge in the width direction of the paper. The cutout section permits the paper to be grasped with fingers by the operator. When the paper is pulled, a force acts on the paper in a direction to press it against the serrated blade edge, cutting the paper from the edge.

摘要: In an ink jet printer having pressure generate means for pressurizing ink inside the printer nozzles, either a first electric pulse of an amplitude enabling ink drop ejecting, or a second electric pulse of an amplitude lower than the amplitude of the first electric pulse for mobilizing ink inside a nozzle, is applied to each pressure generator synchronized to a reference signal of a single frequency. An ink drop is not ejected when a low amplitude second pulse is applied to a pressure generating means. Applying said second electric pulse instead stimulates ink around the nozzle so that high viscosity ink at the nozzle tip mixes with low viscosity ink deeper inside the nozzle, thereby lowering the overall viscosity of ink in the nozzle so that ink drop ejecting is easier.

摘要: A cable for high-voltage electronic devices including an inner semiconductive layer, a high-voltage insulator, an outer semiconductive layer, a shielding layer, and a sheath which are provided on an outer periphery of a cable core part in the order mentioned, wherein the high-voltage insulator is made of an insulating composition whose temperature dependence parameter DR found by the following expression is 1.0 or less: DR=log R23° C.−log R90° C. (where R23° C. is volume resistivity (Ω·cm) at 23° C. and R90° C. is volume resistivity (Ω·cm) at 90° C.). The cable for high-voltage electronic devices is small in diameter and has an excellent withstand voltage characteristic.

摘要: An imaging device receives from a host image data and commands including a normal command and a real-time command to be processed prior to the normal command. A receiver receives a real-time processing disable command, and a processor processes the image data without processing the real-time command, even if a data sequence identical to the byte stream of the real-time command is included in the image data, after processing the real-time processing disable command. In a method for so controlling an imaging device, a real-time processing disable command is received from the host, after which the real-time processing disable command is processed, after which the image data is processed without processing the real-time command, even if a data sequence identical to the byte stream of the real-time command is included in the image data.

摘要: A printing apparatus and method for printing receipts and for controlling the cutting of each receipt in succession from a recording medium such as print paper at an appropriate position determined from the print data received from a host computer. The printing apparatus 50 prints first print data representing transaction information with a paper cut command appended thereto and second print data representing additional information from print data received from a host computer 40. A first control unit 521 prints the first print data and delays executing the paper cut command added to the first print data when first print data is received from the host computer. When print data is received while execution of the paper cut command is delayed, a print data detection unit 522 determines the type of print data received based on the presence or absence of an identifier in the received print data. If the received print data is recognized as second print data, a second control unit 523 prints the received second print data and then executes the paper cut command. If the received print data is determined not to be second print data, the second control unit 523 executes the paper cut command before printing the received print data.

摘要: The present invention provides a solution to the following problem: when using an electronic price tag device attached to a POP panel, an advertising content of the POP panel may be inconsistent with a price displayed on the electronic price tag device, and such inconsistency is left as is until a person in charge of a store site notices that. An electronic price tag device 1 includes detecting elements SW1 to SW3. A POP panel 30 is provided with a projected and recessed part 33 at a position, with the electronic price tag device 1 attached thereto, facing a detecting unit 16. The projected and recessed part 33 is formed to have different shapes corresponding to the types of the POP panel. Type information of the POP panel based on a signal output from the detecting elements SW1 to SW3 engaged with the projected and recessed part 33 is output to a display 4.
