An automatic offset adjusting apparatus for current detectors in a digital controller for a servo motor is constructed so that, when errors occur in offset correction values due to a temperature change and the like while the servo motor is in operation, an electrical angle detecting unit detects a ripple of the torque of the servo motor, on the basis of a ripple of a torque command value, and detects a first electrical angle, where the torque command value becomes maximum, and a second electrical angle, where the torque command value becomes minimum, based on an electrical angle signal of the servo motor, a judgement unit judges whether or not offset correction errors have occurred on the basis of a difference between the first and second electrical angles, and, if the judgement unit judges that the offset correction errors have occurred, a correction unit adds adjustment values for the offset correction values corresponding to the first electrical angle to the respective offset correction values to update the offset correction values, whereby the correction of the offset correction values is automatically carried out even while the servo motor is in operation, thereby preventing generation of the ripple of the torque of the servo motor.

The light-shielding coating layer blocks incidence of the visible light into the X-ray detection section.

Supplied with the oscillation pulse voltage signal and the detected current value, a power control section (22) controls an electric power of the oscillation pulse voltage signal so that the detected current value has a preselected value. The correction factor setting unit obtains a value La/Ln by dividing a predetermined brightness reference value La set beforehand by a brightness value Ln of an arbitrary pixel “n”, and sets the obtained value as a correction factor for each pixel. The correction factor storage unit stores the correction factor set by the correction factor setting unit. The correctional operation unit obtains the correction factor from the correction factor storage unit, and performs a corrective operation.

An information storage apparatus (20) used in combination with an information processing device utilizes a plurality of magnetic disk units (22). The units are individually stocked in stocking locations of a stocking device (23). The stocking locations are assigned with different address numbers. On receiving an incoming signal from the information processing device, one of the units loaded into a disk driver (24) by a transporting device (49, 50) and a desired information data is recorded or reproduced on a flexible magnetic disk of the unit. The unit is thereafter returned to the initial location of the stocking device. Each of the units may have a recording medium. A recording and reproducing device (57) records or reproduces address information on the medium of the unit during transportation of the unit. After a part of a series of information data is recorded in one of the disk units and a remaining portion of the data is recorded in another, the series of information data can be reliably and readily reproduced from the two disk units with reference to the address information on the media of the two disk units.
