    摘要: A durable protective tube for a thermocouple having an extended serviceable life is obtained by covering a tubular preform of ceramic material with a refractory coating. The refractory coating is an alternate arrangement of one or more fine refractory layers of fine particulate refractory material having a particle size of 150 mesh to 500 mesh and one or more coarse refractory layers of coarse particulate refractory material having a particle size of 0.1 mm to 2.0 mm. The refractory coating is prepared by alternately applying a slurry of fine refractory particulates in a colloidal silica or ethyl silicate hydrolyzate binder and then coarse refractory particulates on the outer surface of the tubular preform followed by optional sintering.

    摘要: A mold comprising a cavity for defining the shape of a casting and a mold body for forming said cavity, comprising: a mold body formed of an ordinary temperature setting resin or thermosetting resin and casting sand, said mold body having a surface layer portion on the surfaces thereof including depressions, said depressions in the surface layer portion being filled up with at least one porous powdered material selected from the group consisting of hydrous magnesium silicate clay mineral, activated carbon and activated alumina, thereby providing the mold body with smooth surfaces whereby said mold generates less amount of material such as gums which cause defective castings during casting since molten metal is restrained from intruding into the walls of said mold.

The lubricating oil composition for an internal combustion engine according to the invention comprises the lubricating base oil of the invention, an ashless antioxidant containing essentially no sulfur as a constituent element, and at least one compound selected from among ashless antioxidants containing sulfur as a constituent element and organic molybdenum compounds. Also, a lubricating oil composition for a power train device according to the invention comprises the lubricating base oil of the invention, a poly(meth)acrylate-based viscosity index improver and a phosphorus-containing compound.(a) The saturated component content is 90% by mass or greater, and the proportion of cyclic saturated components among the saturated components is 10-40% by mass.(b) The condition represented by the following formula (1) is satisfied. 1.440≦n20−0.002×kv100≦1.453 (1)[wherein n20 represents the 20° C. refractive index of the lubricating base oil, and kv100 represents the kinematic viscosity at 100° C.     摘要: A seatbelt alarm device for a vehicle includes a seat sensor, a seatbelt sensor, a judgment circuit, an alarm unit, and a child seat sensor. The seat sensor detects a mass on a seat of the vehicle. The seatbelt sensor detects whether a seatbelt of the seat is engaged with a seatbelt buckle. The judgment circuit generates a demand for a seatbelt-wear alarm upon determining that a mass sits on the seat and the seatbelt is not engaged according to detection signals of the seat sensor and the seatbelt sensor, respectively. The alarm unit generates the seatbelt-wear alarm. The child seat sensor detects a child seat mounted on the seat. The judgment circuit restricts operation of the alarm unit when the judgment circuit determines that the child seat is mounted to the seat according to a detection signal of the child seat sensor.
