A capacity loaded planar antenna with short stubs that has a simple structure and can be easily manufactured includes a base plate, an antenna element disposed so as to be parallel to the base plate, a plurality of short stubs that connect the antenna element to the base plate, and a side wall formed on the end of the base plate. The capacity loaded planar antenna achieves wider bandwidth with the small size and low profiled, can be tuned to multiple frequencies by adjusting the length of the short stubs, and uses plate-shaped foldable short stubs that are integrated with the antenna element.

摘要： A system-enabled vehicle entering a crossing warns a driver of the vehicle that a possibility of bumping exists, thereby allowing the driver to brake and stop the vehicle in an emergency in front of the crossing. When the system determines a possibility of bumping with another vehicle entering the crossing exists, the system continuously provides controls for decelerating and stopping the vehicle in a range from a point where the system can decelerate the vehicle in an emergency with time allowance for stopping the vehicle in front of the crossing up to a point in front of the crossing.

摘要： The present invention provides a collision in right/left turn prevention system which can automatically stop a vehicle even when a driver of the vehicle can not correctly grasp a course of a vehicle running in the counter direction because of the road line form or because the counter vehicle is hid behind other vehicles, or when a velocity of the counter vehicle is faster than that estimated by the driver. This system comprises a vehicle running in the counter direction detection means; road surface conditions detection means; database means; vehicle position detection means; vehicles state detection means; determination processing means for selecting any of provision of information to the driver, generation of an alarm, and provision of controls over the vehicle based on information concerning vehicles from the vehicle running in the counter direction detection means, information concerning road line forms from the database means, information concerning a position of the vehicle from the vehicle position detection means, and other information concerning the vehicle itself from the vehicle state detection means, an information output section for providing information or generating an alarm to the driver, and vehicle control means for automatically controlling the vehicle.

摘要： The collision with pedestrian prevention system according to the present invention comprises pedestrian detection means, road surface conditions detection means, road information accumulation means, vehicle position detection means, vehicle state detection means, processing means, information output means, and vehicle control means. Because of the configuration, the driver is alerted the presence of any pedestrian on a pedestrian's crossing and can immediately correct operations for handling the vehicle without being perplexed by the information just about to finish crossing the road. This system works only when there is the possibility of collision between a pedestrian on a pedestrian's crossing and a vehicle, and provides automatic controls for decelerating or stopping the vehicle when the driver can stop the vehicle by emergently braking over a distance from the vehicle to the pedestrian's crossing.

摘要： Maintenance information is collected by a sensor on an electric power cable installed in a manhole. The information is transmitted to a radio transmitter which is positioned in a vicinity of a bottom plane of an inner lid in an opening of the manhole. The information is transmitted by the radio transmitter, and received by a receiving antenna mounted on a bottom plane of the inner lid. On a top plane of the inner lid, an electrode, a connecting lead or a transmitting antenna is provided to be connected to the receiving antenna by an impedance matching circuit. The information is supplied to an outer lid in the opening of the manhole by the opening of the manhole by the electrode using a spatial coupling capacitance relative to the outer lid, or the connecting lead directly connected to the outer lid. Thus, the information is transmitted as a radio signal by the outer lid functioning as an antenna. Otherwise, the information is radiated below the outer lid by the transmitting antenna. Thus, the radiated information is leaked via the outer lid to the exterior of the manhole.
