摘要： A substrate for an ink-jet element of an ink-jet printing head which ejects ink through ejection openings includes heating elements provided for each of the ejection openings and which generate thermal energy for ejecting the ink, a data holding circuit for holding an image data for driving the heat generating elements, by holding the image data in the number of bits corresponding to the number of ejection openings, and a driving circuit for driving the heating elements in units of the plural heating elements provided for each of the plural ejection openings based on the image data. A selection circuit selects at least one of the plural of heating elements provided corresponding to each of the ejection openings for driving. An ink-jet printing head and ink-jet printing apparatus employ such a substrate.

摘要： To provide a portable reproduction device for facilitating change by a user of a reproduction position of content data reproduced in a portable reproduction device. An inclination detection unit (32) detects an inclination of a portable reproduction device (10). In the case where the inclination state of the portable reproduction device detected by the inclination detection unit (32) is changed from a reference state to another state in which a difference from the reference state in inclination is equal to or larger than a reference value and thereafter returns from the other state to the reference state, a determination unit (36) determines whether or not the period of time elapsed after the inclination state of the portable reproduction device starts changing from the reference state to the other state until the inclination state of the portable reproduction device returns to the reference state is within a reference period of time. In the case where the determination unit (36) determines that the period of time elapsed is within the reference period of time, a production control unit (38) changes the reproduction position of the content data, based on a direction of inclination of the portable reproduction device in the other state relative to the reference state.
