摘要: In an apparatus for optically reading a graphic symbol composed of a plurality of optically identifiable unit sections of information, a first image pickup unit has a first photodetector and picks up a first optical image of the graphic symbol based on light detected by the first photodetector. A second image pickup unit has a second photodetector and configured to pick up a second optical image of the graphic symbol based on light detected by the second photodetector. A correcting unit corrects a light intensity level of at least one section of one of the first and second optical images based on a light intensity level of at least one section of the other of the first and second optical images. The at least one section corresponds to at least one of the unit sections of information of the graphic symbol.

摘要: A two-dimensional code having a rectangular region is provided. In the rectangular region, there are code blocks composed of a plurality of cells, a first specific pattern specifying the positions of the cells, and a second specific pattern separating the code blocks from a background of the code. The first specific pattern is located at a specified corner of the rectangular region. The second specific pattern is located along one or more of first borders along which the first specific pattern is located, the first borders being part of the borders of the rectangular region. The code blocks include error-correction code blocks, which are located along second borders which are different from a border of the borders along which the second specific pattern is located. The second borders are part of the borders. Compressed data code blocks are also arranged in the same way as the error-correction code blocks.

摘要: An embodiment of the present invention provides a marker, a test method, and a test kit which can detect the onset of breast cancer that cannot be detected by palpation or mammography examination or breast cancer in an early stage (clinical stage 0), which are simple, and which have high reliability.A marker associated with breast cancer of an embodiment of the present invention is characterized by being a micro-RNA that is found in serum or plasma. More specifically, the marker contains at least a micro-RNA that is present in the serum or the plasma at a significantly reduced level after the onset of breast cancer, or during or after an early stage (during or after clinical stage 0) of breast cancer compared with that before the onset of breast cancer or before the early stage (before clinical stage 0) of breast cancer.

摘要: A pulse signal generator using a magnetic device that can cause a large Barkhausen effect, comprises means having a number of pits and projections and generates pulses according to the behavior of these, the means being capable of moving the pits and projections in a first or second direction, the pits and projections being disposed in the moving direction with some of the projections missing or some of the pits filled. The value of the ratio between the time interval of pulses generated by portions other than a projection-missing portion and the time interval of pulses generated by the projection-missing portion or the value of the ratio between the time interval of pulses generated by portions other than a pit-filled portion and the time interval of pulses generated by the pit-filled portion differs between when the pits and projections move in the first or second direction.

摘要: A method for cleaning and transporting rubber stoppers includes the steps of ejecting pressurized water, fed from a water storage division, from a jet nozzle to form a jet stream flowing into a negative pressure-creating pipe for suction to create a negative pressure inside the negative pressure-creating pipe; transporting rubber stoppers placed in a storage section to the negative pressure-creating pipe through a cleaning inlet port placed under the storage section using the negative pressure; cleaning the rubber stoppers with the jet stream while the rubber stoppers are being transported through the negative pressure-creating pipe and then a transportation pipe directly connected to the negative pressure-creating pipe; transporting the rubber stoppers to a water separation section to remove water from the rubber stoppers; and transporting the rubber stoppers to a stocker for storing the cleaned rubber stopper.
