摘要: Provided is a novel compound that can be suitably used as a compound for an organic EL device. The compound is represented by general formula (1): wherein x, y and z are an integer of 0 to 3 with x+z>1; R3, R15, R16, R17, and R18 are hydrogen or a linear or branched alkyl; R1, R2, R4, and R5 are hydrogen, a linear or branched alkyl, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl with at least one being a substituted or unsubstituted aryl; A is hydrogen, a linear or branched alkyl, or group B: (wherein R6, R7, R8, R9, and R10 are hydrogen, a linear or branched alkyl, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl); R11, R12, R13, and R14 are hydrogen, a linear or branched alkyl, or a substituted or unsubstituted aryl; and each CH on the benzene ring may be replaced by nitrogen.

摘要: The present invention provides an organic EL device utilizing phosphorescence which can be driven at a low voltage, which realizes high luminance and high efficiency, and which has a long lifetime. The organic EL device of the present invention includes an organic light-emitting layer composed of at least a host material and a dopant, wherein the dopant is a phosphorescent compound containing a halogen atom, and the host material is a linear aromatic compound having no aromatic substituent at a side thereof.

摘要: An organic electroluminescent device includes an anode, a cathode, a luminescent layer disposed between the anode and the cathode, and a hole-transporting layer disposed between the anode and the cathode. The luminescent layer includes a first sublayer made of a first metal complex and a second sublayer made of a second metal complex. The second sublayer is disposed further from the hole-transporting layer than the first sublayer.
