    摘要: The present invention has aimed to provide a method which is capable of producing a rare earth magnet having a protective layer that can provide a sufficient water resistance. The present invention provides a method for producing a rare earth magnet comprising a magnet body containing a rare earth element and a protective layer with high water resistance formed on the surface of the magnet body, the method comprising a first step in which a zinc compound soluble in an alkaline solution is dissolved in an alkali silicate solution to prepare a treatment solution, a second step in which the treatment solution is attached on the surface of the magnet body, and a third step in which the treatment solution attached on the magnet body surface is cured to form a protective layer comprising the cured product of the treatment solution.

    摘要: The invention aims to solve the problem of prior art EL devices that undesirable defects form in dielectric layers, and especially the problems of EL devices having dielectric layers of lead-base dielectric material including a lowering, variation and change with time of the luminance of light emission, and thereby provide an EL device ensuring high display quality without increasing the cost. Such objects are achieved by an EL device comprising at least an electrically insulating substrate 11 and a structure including an electrode layer 12, a dielectric layer 13, 14, 15, a light emitting layer 17 and a transparent electrode layer 19 stacked on the substrate 11, wherein the dielectric layer is a laminate including a first thick-film ceramic high-permittivity dielectric layer 13 whose composition contains at least lead, a second high-permittivity layer 14 whose composition contains at least lead, and a third high-permittivity layer 15 whose composition is free of at least lead.

    摘要: A backlight unit is provided that, for a case where on a mounting board on which a plurality of point light sources are mounted, an electronic component other than those point light sources is mounted, can reduce the occurrence of uneven luminance, with no increase in the size of the backlight unit. This backlight unit (10) is provided with a PWB (6) having at least an LED mounting region (6a) extending along a side surface (3a) of a light guide plate (3). The LED mounting region (6a) of the PWB (6) is, at an end portion thereof on one side, provided with an FPC mounting region (6b) and is, at an end portion thereof on the other side opposite to the one side, provided with a capacitor mounting region (6c) extending along a side surface (3b) perpendicular to the side surface (3a) of the light guide plate (3).
