摘要: Provided is an electric construction machine capable of avoiding a situation where charging is difficult to achieve due to the exhaustion of a battery device. An electrically-operated hydraulic excavator includes an electric motor, a hydraulic pump that is driven by the electric motor, hydraulic actuators that are driven by hydraulic fluid discharged from the hydraulic pump, and a battery device that serves as an electrical power source for the electric motor. The battery device includes battery systems that each have a plurality of batteries. A selector switch makes it possible to select either one of the battery systems. An arithmetic control section of an inverter device controls connection change switches through battery controllers to change the connections of the battery systems so that electrical power is supplied to the electric motor from either the battery system or the battery system, whichever is selected by the selector switch.

摘要: An electric construction machine is capable of increasing a battery device charging rate in a short charging time. The battery device includes a plurality of battery systems and an inverter device which has a motor driving control function of selectively connecting one of the battery systems, converting DC power supplied from the connected battery system into AC power, and supplying the AC power to an electric motor. The inverter has a battery charging control function of selectively connecting one of the battery systems and supplying electric power from an external commercial power supply to the connected battery system. When the voltages of the battery systems are less than an upper limit value V1 at the start of the charging, constant-current charging of one battery system is started. Before the one battery system reaches the fully charged state, the connection is switched to another battery system to start constant-current charging thereof.

摘要: A hydraulic pump, electric motor, inverter, oil tank, heat exchanger, and battery are mounted on a revolving frame, and are covered by an exterior cover. The revolving frame is provided with a partition plate, and the interior of the exterior cover is partitioned by the partition plate into a machine room for accommodating the hydraulic pump and the electric motor and into a battery room for accommodating the battery. A cooling fan is arranged in the machine room so that outside air is introduced into the machine room through an oil tank cooling air inlet port and an inverter cooling air inlet port which are provided in the exterior cover. This outside air cools the hydraulic pump, the electric motor, and the oil tank in the machine room and is exhausted to the outside of the machine room through an exhaust port.

摘要: An electric construction machine that enables quick and easy replacement of the battery device with different types of battery devices is provided. An upper swing structure has a vehicle main body and a vehicle rear part. The battery device is mounted on the vehicle rear part and the vehicle rear part is attachable and detachable to/from a vehicle body frame of the vehicle main body using a bolt. A main frame overhangs and extends in a longitudinal direction to reach the underside of the vehicle rear part. The vehicle rear part also includes a rear frame to be mounted on the main frame and is fixed with the bolt and a rear cover covering the rear frame forming a battery compartment, and having a shape imitating a counter weight.

This storage space (24) can be used for installation of an air-conditioning unit (25). This lo means that the air-conditioning unit (25) can be accommodated in a floor portion in front of the operator's seat (16), permitting to suppress the height of the cab (11) to an appropriate level. In addition, installation of the air-conditioning unit (25) can make assembling and maintenance work far easier.

摘要: An operator's cab structure for a construction machine, arranged to minimize the degree of lateral projection of a cab door on the outer side of a left enclosure section, for the purpose of securing a broader dwelling space within a cab. A side panel or wall portion which is provided in a left side enclosure section of a cab box is located in a receded position inward of outer marginal edges of a ceiling enclosure section. By this arrangement, an open door accommodating space is formed or defined on the rear side of the left side enclosure section by an outer surface of the side wall portion, lower surface of the ceiling enclosure section and rear surface of a center pillar. As a consequence, when the cab door is opened, it is received in the open door accommodating space to minimize the extent of lateral projection of the door on the outer side of the left enclosure section. Accordingly, it becomes possible to increase the width of the cab box to secure a broader dwelling space within the cab in the transverse direction.
