摘要: A driving mechanism including a stepping motor having a rotor which rotates through a certain angular interval each time the stepping motor is energized. A driving member having a plurality of radial slots is mounted for rotation about an axis and is rotated by the rotor. A driven member is mounted for rotation and includes a pin extending therefrom for engaging one of the slots as the driving member rotates and for disengaging from the one of the slots after the driving member has rotated past the certain angular interval, whereby the driven member is rotated through the certain angular interval upon energization of the stepping motor. The driving member includes arcuate peripheral portions over a limited angular extent and concentric with the axis of rotation of the driving member. The driven member includes concave arcuate portions of limited angular extend spaced about the periphery thereof. The driven member is rotatable to a position so that one of the arcuate portions is concentric with the axis of rotation of the driving member and extends along and opposite an arcuate peripheral portion of the driving member for preventing rotation of the driven member when an arcuate peripheral portion of the driving member and one of the corresponding concave arcuate peripheral portions of the driven member are opposed when the stepping motor is not energized.

摘要: A driving wheel is mounted on the output shaft of a step motor, and a driven wheel engaging with gear wheels on which pointers are set is driven by said driving wheel. The driving wheel and the drive wheel have respective peripheral portions effective to couple the driving wheel with the driven wheel to rotate the driven wheel as the driving wheel rotates of an angular interval of rotation, and for thereafter disengaging the driving member from the driven member.In order to fix the position of a pointer after the driving wheel has finished rotating the driven wheel, the reversal preventing mechanism acts on the said driven wheel or the driving wheel. The driving wheel is driven by a stepping motor having a rotor which intermittently rotates in one direction through a predetermined angular interval to a rest position. The driven wheel is in turn intermittently rotated by the driving wheel to intermittently change the position of the pointer.

摘要: A polarized drive rotor having opposite polarity poles is rotatably arranged in the magnetic field developed by a coreless field coil and a polarized auxiliary rotor also having opposite polarity poles is arranged and magnetically coupled to the drive rotor so as to displace, the drive rotor through a preselected angle with respect to the direction of the magnetic field developed by the coreless field coil. An output is taken out of either one of the polarized rotors to drive a gear train and accordingly drive a clock hand. Electric drive circuitry applies a forward electric current to the field coil to rotationally advance the rotors and after the rotors stop and when a preselected time has passed since the energization of the coil, the rotors are rotated again in the same direction by applying a reverse electric current to the coil. In this way the clock hand can be driven stepwise at intervals of preselected constant time.

摘要: The cam type time detecting mechanism of an alarm clock has a time gear wheel, an alarm gear wheel and a detecting plate, all mounted on a shaft. A hole is formed on either the alarm gear wheel or the detecting plate and a projection is formed on the other. The detecting plate is movable on the shaft in the axial direction of the shaft. The time gear wheel and the detecting plate have guiding parts respectively so that the time gear wheel, in its normal rotation, continuously pushes and turns the detecting plate. At least one of the time gear wheel, the alarm gear wheel and the detecting plate has a cam for lifting up the detecting plate if the time gear wheel and the alarm gear wheel turn either in normal and reverse directions.

摘要: An alarm signaling time setting member is coupled to a minute indication drum having minute-scale alarm time graduations and an hour indication drum having hour-scale alarm signaling time graduations is intermittently advanced by the minute indication drum. First and second detection members for detecting the alarm signaling time are provided in correspondence to an hour time wheel and a minute time wheel respectively. The first detection member is geared to the second detection member, and the second detection member is geared to the minute indication drum to permit the detection member positions to be continuously set.

摘要: An electronic watch having a multiple of modes includes mode selection means operable from the outside and a plurality of external operating buttons for modifying the contents of indication of the watch or for issuing an operational command in each mode. Auxiliary indication means is provided directly with the mode selection means. Alternatively, the auxiliary indication means may be provided separately from the mode selection means but in an interlocked fashion with it. The indication surface of the auxiliary indication means carries at a position corresponding to each of the external operating buttons a symbol or characters which represent the function of said each of the external operating buttons in each selected mode.

摘要: In the time detecting device of an alarm clock is provided with an hour gear wheel and an alarm gear wheel, each having an indication hand, engaging with a second hour gear wheel and a second alarm gear wheel respectively. An detecting cam plate is provided so as to be axially shiftable and continuously pushed and turned by the second hour gear wheel. A projection is formed on either the second alarm gear wheel or the detecting cam plate while a hole is formed on the other. When the respective phases of the projection and the hole coincide, the detecting cam plate is allowed to shift to actuate the alarm device.
