The overlay system controls access to application programs and provides a first user interface and a second operating environment associated with a second user interface. Optionally, the overlay system provides a first operating environment associated with the first user interface. The overlay system includes an access control configured to permit or deny a request for access in the second operating environment to resources and/or data. Optionally, the overlay system is executed in the application framework layer of the operating system and may comprise a hypervisor providing an operating platform comprising the first user interface, the second operating environment, and an application space providing access to the application layer.

The computing device may include a display, one or more processors, a non-transitory storage media, a communication interface, and an operating system. The storage media may include instructions stored therein that are configured to be executed by the one or more processors. The stored instructions may include instructions for reading an identifier (ID) of a physical key via the communication interface. The stored instructions may additionally include instructions for determining whether the ID read from the physical key is included on a list of paired physical keys. The stored instructions may further include instructions to communicate to the operating system an authorization signal equivalent to input of a valid password when the ID read from the physical key is included on the list of paired physical keys.

    摘要: A multi-mode audio device includes speakers and a sound output control configured to control a maximum level of sound emitted by the speakers. The sound output control comprises a control interface configured to receive selection of an operative mode of the multi-mode audio device from among a managed mode and a normal mode. An access control communicatively coupled to the sound output control is configured to require an authentication to switch from the managed mode to the normal mode. A mode indicator communicatively coupled to the sound output control and configured to provide a visual indication of the operative mode. Optionally, a monitoring system communicatively coupled to the sound output control is configured to capture one or more data regarding usage of the multi-mode audio device and to generate a report regarding the one or more data regarding usage of the multi-mode audio device.
