摘要： Embodiments of an optical fiber splice tray assembly for attachment to a backplane are disclosed. In an embodiment, an optical fiber splice tray assembly includes a primary tray having a primary tray base, fiber retention means for retaining optical fiber against the primary tray base, fiber splice accommodation means, first attachment means for attaching the primary tray to the backplane, and second attachment means for attaching a secondary tray having a secondary tray base, to the primary tray, wherein the secondary tray is attached indirectly to the backplane via the primary tray using the second attachment means.

摘要： A telecommunication distribution frame is provided for optical fiber of an incoming cable. Primary and secondary flexibility suites include joined blown fiber tubes routed as desired within the installation. A continuous blown fiber unit may extend through the joined blown fiber tubes. A blown fiber tube flexibility module may have a patching panel which may be provided with connectors. Above the panel may be a set of bend control vanes or mandrels one for each of the connector sites in the panel. Patching tubes may pass down and out through an aperture at the back of the module.

摘要： Apparatus for installing a cable into a tube with the assistance of a fluid drag acting on the cable within the tube, the apparatus including: driving means comprising a driving surface arranged to contact the cable substantially along the full driving surface length, for driving the cable into the tube, first measurement means for obtaining a first value indicative of a rate at which the installation means is driving the cable into the tube, second measurement means for obtaining a second value indicative of a rate at which the cable is travelling through the apparatus, a processor for detecting when the first value exceeds the second value, and for reducing the rate at which the installation means is driving the cable into the tube for the duration when the first value exceeds the second value.
