    摘要： The image coding method for improving the filtering quality and suppressing increase in the transmission bandwidth includes: selecting filter data elements of the first and second component filters from a filter memory (1330), and obtaining indexes stored in association with the selected filter data elements in the filter memory (1330) (S10, S11); coding a macroblock using the two filter data elements (S12); adding the two indexes to a coded video signal (S13); calculating the filter data elements of the first and second component filters based on a slice, and assigning indexes to the filter data elements (S20, S21); storing, in the filter memory (1330), a corresponding one of the calculated filter data elements and the index in association with each other for each of the component filters (S22); and adding the two calculated filter data elements to the coded video signal (S23).

    摘要： An image coding method includes: quantizing a signal to be coded to determine a quantized coefficient (S11); inverse quantizing the quantized coefficient to generate a decoded signal (S12); subdividing the decoded signal into image areas (S13); estimating (i) first correlation data for each area larger than one of the image areas determined in the subdividing, and (ii) second correlation data for each of the image areas determined in the subdividing, the first correlation data indicating a correlation between the signal to be coded and the decoded signal, and the second correlation data indicating an autocorrelation of the decoded signal (S14); calculating a filter coefficient using the first and second correlation data for each of the image areas (S15); filtering the decoded signal for each of the image areas, using the filter coefficient calculated in the calculating; and providing only the first correlation data from the first and second correlation data.

    摘要： The coding method includes: transforming pixel values of an image into a two-dimensional matrix including N coefficients in a frequency domain; quantizing the N coefficients to generate N quantized coefficients; generating a one-dimensional sequence based on the two-dimensional matrix and tree structure information that defines a binary tree; and coding the one-dimensional sequence and at least some of the N quantized coefficients. The generating includes: determining, based on the two-dimensional matrix, a reference destination information item indicating positions of the N quantized coefficients in the two-dimensional matrix to be referenced to by the N leaf nodes, respectively (S31); assigning one of a first value and a second value to each of the nodes of the binary tree, based on the two-dimensional matrix and the reference destination information item (S32); and arranging, in preorder, the values assigned to the respective nodes to generate the one-dimensional sequence (S33).

    摘要： An interpolation filtering method includes selecting (S33), from an image, pixels to be used to interpolate a pixel to be interpolated; determining (S34) weight coefficients, each for a corresponding one of the pixels selected in the selecting of pixels; and calculating (S35) a pixel value of the pixel to be interpolated, by performing a weighted sum of pixel values of the pixels using the weight coefficients determined in the determining (S34) of weight coefficients. In the determining (S34) of weight coefficients, each of the weight coefficients is determined for the corresponding one of the pixels such that a smaller weight coefficient is assigned to a pixel when the pixel is included in a neighboring block than when the pixel is included in a current block in which the pixel to be interpolated is included and which is different from the neighboring block.

    摘要： A coding method comprises: transforming an input signal; scanning and quantizing coefficient values composing the transformed output signal; and entropy coding the quantized coefficients, wherein the transforming includes: generating a first transformed output signal by performing a first transform on the input signal using a first transform coefficient; and generating a second transformed output signal by performing, using a second transform coefficient, a second transform on a first partial signal which is a part of the first transformed output signal, and outputting the transformed output signal including the generated second transformed output signal and a second partial signal that is the remaining part of the first transformed output signal other than the first partial signal, and a signal corresponding to the second transformed output signal and a signal corresponding to the second partial signal are processed differently in at least one of the scanning, the quantizing, and the entropy coding.
