    摘要: A method, a system and a client of/for rendering a first media type (11) content on a browser (10) on a client (16) with a rendering support from a server (13). The method includes the steps of determining if the first media type content is not suitable for being rendered due to limited resources on the client, and, if this is the case activating a first software component (12) prepared for handling and receiving rendering support from the server, sending, from the client, a link to the first media type content with a request for rendering support; determining, on the server, a second media type content of the received link, wherein the second media type content is suitable for being rendered on the client; transferring the second media type content to the client; and rendering, by the first software component, the second media type content. The method further includes the steps of receiving, by the first software component, a first input event; sending the first input event from the first software component to a second software component (15) on the server; transforming, by the second software component, the received first input event to a third media type content based on the first input event and the second media type content; transferring, by the second software component, the third media type content to the first software component; and rendering the third media type content. This enables for rendering of media types on the browser on the client that the browser was not initially suitable for or did not have system resources for.

    摘要: The present invention provides an adaptive infotainment device, comprising a display unit, a processing module, and a network module. The processing module is coupled to the display unit to decrypt and process the multi-media content. The network module is coupled to the processing module to receive the multi-media content and selecting paths and accessing nodes. The network module collects the usage log to be processed by the processing module to generate an accumulated user profile to be fused with user default information in a user default unit coupled to the processing module to generate at least one threshold value so that the display unit is capable of displaying the processed multi-media content according to the threshold value. Hence, the user's network behavior can be learned by combining the pre-determined preferences and the past usage preferences so as to generate the most favorable displaying means to enhance the convenience for browsing information.

    摘要: A data source apparatus, such as a computer, is connected to a remote device, such as a wireless projector, via a transmission channel, such as a wireless network, so that the remote device shows display images of the data source apparatus. Updated regions of the data source apparatus are detected and analyzed. Corresponding compression methods are then selected according to the characteristics of the updated regions. Then, the updated regions are compressed using the selected compression methods, and the compressed data accompanied by meta data indicating the type of the compression methods and coordinate values of the updated regions are then transmitted to the remote device. Then, the remote device updates its display according to the received data.

The synchronization method includes at least a transmitting process, at least a responding process, at least a receiving process, a calculating process and a time-adjusting process. The transmitting process is for transmitting a synchronization message to at least one of the slave apparatuses through a network and recording a transmitting time by the master apparatus. The responding process is for transmitting a responding message to the master apparatus through the network and record a responding time after the slave apparatus receives the synchronization message. The receiving process is for receiving the responding message and recording a receiving time by the master apparatus. The calculating process is for calculating a time-adjusted amount by the master apparatus according to at least one set of the transmitting time, the responding time and the receiving time derived from the transmitting process, the responding process and the receiving process. The time-adjusting process is for transmitting the time-adjusted amount to the slave apparatus by the master apparatus and adjusting the time clock according to the time-adjusted amount by the slave apparatus.
