    摘要: The present invention relates to an air filter pack frame constituted of four profiled elements being held together by angle pieces and surrounding an opening there between, in which a pack of pleated filter medium is intended to be mounted, said profiled elements having a front side, which when a pack of filter medium is mounted in the frame is adjacent to an inlet side thereof, and a rear side, which when a pack of filter medium is mounted in the frame is adjacent to an outlet side thereof. According to the invention an inwardly open sealing channel extends along each profiled elements in the front end thereof.

    摘要: An apparatus and method forms an optical microresonator and includes spaced high precision ferrules through which an optical fiber passes. A ferrule can be rotatable and movable longitudinally in an axial direction. A clamp engages a ferrule and is operable to secure the optical fiber within a fiber guide of a ferrule such that the optical fiber can be rotated and translated longitudinally in a precision manner for writing a pattern on the optical fiber and forming a resonant waveguide.

    摘要: The system and method of the present invention is operative to monitor the performance of an optical communications channel. An optical splitter splits a wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) optical communications signal into a low power WDM signal onto a back-up path, where a tunable filter sweeps the optical communications channels, while a monitoring circuit monitors the optical communications channels for performance. Optical power can be stored and subsequently displayed, providing an optical spectrum analysis of the signal.

    摘要: The pocket filter exhibits an outer frame made of plastics material and several adjacent filter elements arranged in the outer frame. The outer frame is composed of opposing limb profiles, a base profile and a closing profile which each have an essentially U-shaped cross section with an inwardly opened interior space. The profiles can be joined to one another at the corners of the outer frame by corner connectors. An inner frame made of plastics material is arranged inside a free border of each filter pocket. Each inner frame has opposing longitudinal profiles and facing profiles fastened thereon. Each longitudinal profile has holes spaced from one another and projecting parts which extend outward and which cooperate in the open outer frame when the filter elements are pushed in. Transverse walls fastened on the accompanying longitudinal profile extend into an inlet of the inner frame. One of the transverse walls extends at least approximately in alignment with each hole and with each projecting part of the longitudinal profiles.

A microcylinder is positioned adjacent the optical source guide and has a resonant waveguide formed as spaced resonant elements, such as circumferential ridges and a diffractive coating thereon that optically couples light from the optical source guide onto the microcylinder. An optical exit waveguide is positioned adjacent the microcylinder and spaced from the optical source waveguide for coupling light from the microcylinder into the optical exit waveguide.
