    摘要: The disclosed invention relates to mixtures of at least two structurally different surface-active compounds, one surface-active compound a) being selected from an hydroxyl mixed ether compound of formula (I): R1O[CH2CH2O]xCH2CH(OM)R2  (I) in which R1 is a linear or branched alkyl and/or alkenyl group containing 4 to 22 carbon atoms or an R2—CH(OH)CH2 group, where R2 is a linear or branched alkyl and/or alkenyl group containing 8 to 16 carbon atoms, x is a number from 40 to 80 and M is a hydrogen atom or a saturated alkyl group containing 1 to 18 carbon atoms. The second surface-active compound b) is preferably selected from a structurally different hydroxy mixed ether compound of formula (II): R3O[CH2CH2O]y[CH2CHCH3O]zCH2CH(OH)R4  (II) These mixtures are capable of improving the drying of hard surfaces after washing and, at the same time, also positively influence clear-rinse performance.

    摘要: A process for making an alkyl and/or alkenyl oligoglycoside preparation having a magnesium salt concentration of less than about 10 ppm involving the steps of: (a) providing an alkyl and/or alkenyl oligoglycoside preparation having an active substance content of from about 10 to 70% by weight, based on the weight of the preparation; (b) providing an acid component; (c) adjusting the pH of the alkyl and/or alkenyl oligoglycoside preparation to from about 4 to 9.5 by combining the acid component with the alkyl and/or alkenyl oligoglycoside preparation to form a pH-modified alkyl and/or alkenyl oligoglycoside preparation; (d) providing a column charged with an ion exchange resin; and (e) purifying the pH-modified alkyl and/or alkenyl oligoglycoside preparation by passing it through the column of step (d) at a viscosity of from about 20 to 6,000 mPas, and at a temperature of from about 20 to 90° C. to form the alkyl and/or alkenyl oligoglycoside preparation having a magnesium salt concentration of less than about 10 ppm.

    摘要: Alkyl glycosides are produced by direct synthesis from higher monofunctional alcohols and powder-form glycoses, particularly anhydrous glucose and/or glucose monohydrate, in the presence of acidic catalysts at elevated temperatures, the interior of the reactor being kept under reduced pressure and the glycose being introduced with delay into the alcohol reactants present in excess therein, the alcohol reactants containing the acidic catalyst and being heated to the reaction temperature, while water released in the reaction mixture is removed from the reaction zone via the gas phase. A partial stream is run off from the liquid reaction mixture and delivered to a premixing zone into which the powder-form reactant is simultaneously introduced and is converted with the liquid partial stream into a paste which is delivered to the interior of the reactor via a following intensive mixer. The premixing zone is in direct pressure equalization with the reduced pressure of the reactor interior via the intensive mixer on the one hand and, at the same time, with the ambient pressure via the feed unit used for the powder-form glycose on the other hand, the consistency of the paste formed in the premixing zone being selected so that the paste serves as a pressure-equalizing sealing compound and, hence, as a so-called "living seal".

    摘要: The invention relates to aqueous dispersions containing (a) 5 to 50% by weight of sterols and/or stanols; and (b) 0.5 to 20% by weight of citric acid esters of mono- and/or diglycerides, based on the total weight of the dispersion, wherein the citric acid esters of mono- and/or diglycerides are partially neutralised; and to a process for the production of an aqueous sterol/stanol-containing dispersion, which process comprises (a) dissolving citric acid esters of mono- and/or diglycerides that are partly neutralised, in water; (b) dispersing sterols and/or stanols in the emulsifier solution to form a pre-dispersion; and (c) grinding the pre-dispersion in a ball-mill until the dispersion has a particle mass diameter, d90, of less than 5 μm. Optionally, this dispersion is spray-dried.
